507 LSD, not on my data sheet but car acts as if
This is NOT just the same old lsd question. I searched..seems 507s did not come with lsd standard and it must be on the vin data sheet as its own option if car has it. BUT my car leaves 2 even black tire marks when I take TC off and acts as though it has lsd, but it is not on the data sheet Joe just decoded for me on the VIN thread. I bought the car with 4500 miles on it from a dealer who got it through an estate sale. Not one modification to the car that I can tell, but no lsd option on data sheet and 2 black tire marks during burnout leaves the only conclusion that original owner added lsd and absolutely nothing else to the car. Previous owner cannot be contacted.
Thoughts?
Thx

An open diff can still leave two tire marks. If it ain’t on the build sheet you don’t have one (unless the previous owner installed one).

My 507 could also leave 2 black lines when it was stock with no LSD.
If it's not on the datacard, then it wasn't fitted by the factory.
Maybe previous owner fitted an aftermarket LSD.

This is by far the easiest way to confirm whether you have an LSD or not and only takes about 15 minutes to do... Plus it doesn't wear out your tires!

an open diff doesn't mean you aren't able to leave 2 black marks or even do donuts...if you have enough power and your weight is evenly distributed either is possible. getting your rear in the air and spinning your driveshaft while holding one wheel will let you know if you have something.

Just wanted to follow up since you all were kind enough to respond. My 507 was up in the air this morning, they did the tire spin test and it has an open diff, not an lsd.
Renntech is the closest high quality shop to me by far, 5 miles away, but their 100% locking diff is way more expensive than other options and they won't install a brand other than their own, claiming they had issues with installing other diffs in the past. I have gone with all their stuff so far and the quality is high, that price though lol.
FYI:
The general idea of my 507 is to just get as much performance out of it as I can, while keeping it fully streetable, naturally aspirated and 93 oct pump gas. So I have tried to use the best quality parts thus far because I think the cars warrant it..i am at 480+whp/430+wtq with stock resonator, stock secondary cats, stock mufflers. Car is quiet and peaceful in Comfort mode and wakes up like a beast in S+ and M. Happy with performance so far and only a couple minor issues with the Renntech stuff though it was pricey.

Their parts are pricey. I have their tune and I’m happy with it and my Mbh headers.
what issues did you have with them?

Get that. DIY or have a decent transmission shop do the swap. It is not new but usually outlasts the car anyway.

I can't see any distinguishing features of the ad / picture to say otherwise... As to where to buy "that".
