KW coilover variations

has anyone been running any of the kw coilover kits for a long time and care to share your streetability/track observations from your time with those parts? I have looked at previous threads but I am most interested in longterm satisfaction and how the more aggressive versions are on the street in these cars. I have had aggressive coilover setups on other cars and was ok with the streetability.
It looks like there are a lot of choices just within the kw product line from clubsport to competition sets.
thank you in advance for any input.

I have KW DDC, comes with 3 options of changeable electronic damping.
Pretty handy if you use car as daily and prefer comfort mode.
Sport mode when driving enthusiastically, Sport plus when on track or runway.
Basically its a KW V3 with controllable damping.

that sounds befitting of the car. How does the controller work/mount?

did you find an optimal setting that works well for both street and track or do you adjust it and have separate setups for each? Thank you

Just keep it on my track settings all the time as I don’t street drive it much. I play around with the compression/rebound sometimes, but generally keep everything within a couple clicks of the middle setting. Camber was at -3.5F/-2.5R last time it was set I think.

There is a button to install in dash, 3 options to press, cycling throught the choices.
You will need to order the wireless LAN to change the customised settings.

I have the KW DDC with the LAN control added as well.

Car is more comfortable on the street than OEM in the comfort setting. Switching to the Sport or Sport+ is as easy as pressing a button and is done within seconds. Great for tracking. The presets are good enough for me and I honestly never use custom settings anymore.

It would be awesome if the DDC could be controlled with the existing knob near the shifter.

That would be nice. They do have the 'plug & play' versions available for other cars, but not us.

Wouldn't be too terrible to take the contacts from the transmission select button and wire them to the contacts that the kit button triggers. If the button has indicators for modes (LEDs?), you could relocate those as well.

EDIT: Just noticed you mentioned the knob (FL) and not the C>S>M button (PFL)

place the button to the right of the shifter. Plenty of room there and easy to access when the road suddenly changes from smooth twisty to rough.

that looks great, looking at your pic makes me wonder if it would be possible to buy an extra shifter knob to modify and mount the button on top of it where the emblem is? Just an idea.

GMP installed mine in the cigarette lighter so it's completely hidden when the lid is shut. Plus it's completely reversible.

I haven't seen it done, but the button isn't too big. I'm not sure what the inside of the shift knob looks like, but it would be a cool place for it.

The pics are all very helpful, thank you. Cig lighter placement is very cool too.

Ideally you would want the button to be hidden as the LED ring around the button is VERY bright and can be a distraction at night driving.
