Pre-facelift c63 transmission problem.

Hey guys, I’ve looked everywhere in the forum but couldn’t find a similar threat about a pre-facelift c63 w204.
After a few rolling burnouts and aggressive driving I noticed that transmission started slipping when going from 2nd to 3rd gear. At about 49% throttle it would jump about 400rpm while engaging... any ideas? Cheers

I had experience something similar last year. My mileage is around the same as years.
Initially the workshop thought it was the TCU controller. But the problem we found was the transmission housing. The internals have started to "flake" off materials, I can't rem what was the material.
If you have the same issue with the transmission housing, its a pain in the *** to replace and cost quite a bit as well

doesn’t sound too good thank you very much for the info mate! Did it occur through all the gears or 2>3 like mine?

Just a new bell housing. They had to clean up all the little "flakes" from the gears etc before assembling back.
