Thinking about buying
I’m thinking about buying a 2009 c63 with only 2700 miles on it. I think it would be good to use so I don’t put too many miles on my CLK 63 Black Series it now has 1800 miles on it.

W hat do you think I should offer for the 2700 mile 2009 c63. The car has never been wet and is just as clean underneath as it is on top. It is definitely collector quality and was stored in a climate controlled garage. They are asking for $43900. I think that is high, but where can you find one with such low mileage,

Value is a tough one on a car like that, it is a loaded 2009 with almost no miles, so one one hand it is a brand new car, but on the other, not the most desirable of the run, one of the years that had some issues, car has sat more than it has been driven which isn't great for the car and they want 43k for a car that invoiced at 53k. It is certainly worth a premium over other 2009's but also is likely to have some issues if you drive it due to sitting so much.
There are a few for sale with 20-25k miles on them for 28-30k, 35k miles for 22k, so personally I thin, maybe a 35-38k car in my book, for 43k I would buy a low mile 2012+ for less money.

I agree , you could buy a facelift c63 or aim for a 507 edition for that kind of money . When you buy a low mile AMG your always kinda watching or worrying about the miles
if you buy one with reasonable amount of miles you can drive and enjoy it with no worries . IMO I think if your considering buying that low mile c63 it’s worth able $30k

I wouldn’t buy it for more than $25k. The seller is thinking he has a collector’s car and is probably not going down on the price. He is waiting for the right buyer. Don’t be that buyer.
I would be worried that several known issues would pop up after some more miles are put on the car and at this point there is no manufacturer warranty to cover them.
Besides, it needs a new set of tires.

If you're trying to avoid putting miles on the CLK63 BS, get a "regular" C63 with proper or low mileage. There is nothing special about that 2009 car except for the mileage. If you get it for 40k and put miles on it, the value will tank fast. Just get a FL car or 507 with 40-60k miles for the same price and enjoy it without worrying about the mileage.

I'll be the only advocate and say mid $35-38k and go for it. torque converter cars drive better for the street. Sure you can get a higher mileage used newer car but most 50-60k+ mile cars I see are getting rough. Not many are that well kept or could be compared to like new. Seat wear, interior trim peeling, steering wheels and buttons. You'd have to drop a good 5k$ to try and bring most of the interiors on the higher mileage cars back to flawless levels. As for paint, you can't undue 60k worth of paint and finish neglect. Although the market and everyone here will say you're dumb to do it. I say If you like the color, the car and want a clean mint example pull the trigger on it. However if you are think collectors piece or anything like that just forget about it. A regular C63 is about 30,000 units too many for collector car status. Stick to a c63 bs or your clk63 bs if you're concerned with holding value or collector status.

Does the c63 with the performance pack ride as stiffly as a CLK63 Black Series? I have a c63 Black Series and it is very stiff. It handles great but bad roads are no fun. On smooth roads it is great.

to my knowledge, any other C63 regardless of package will come with a standard non adjustable spring but electronically adjustable dampers through use of Sport handling mode setting. stiff, as far as plush Mercedes go, yes...stiff compared to a KW Variant 3's no, but I've never driven in a vehicle with their KW V3's set to full soft on renounce and damping.

For the record, the W204 C63 doesn’t have electronic adjustable dampers. The “Sport” setting only changes transmission behavior. You may have been talking about the W205.
I’ve heard that the CLK BS is a tougher ride than the C63 BS.
