possible oil leak from camber adjuster. need help with part numbers

i'm trying to locate the correct parts that may be needed for the fix to my problem. recently noticed a weird smell and the only thing i could notice from under the hood was a bit of oil on the passenger side. i took some pictures. after some research, i believe my leak is coming from what is called the camber adjuster cover and i may just need to replace the gaskets. some said to replace both sides to be safe. i think the parts may be called something else and i'm not sure. could someone help me with locating the correct part numbers?

2010 with 120K miles.

i also read that if i'm replacing these, i might as replace some other parts that may cause issues later on. i'm not sure if they are necessary or not. i copied this list from another thread

valve covers
front chain seal
oil cooler thermostat o-ring
oil cooler hard line o-rings
oil pans if leaking

again, any advice would be appreciated and part numbers.

in 2017 i had these parts replaced.

i was about to get some other things done when i ran into this oil issue. so i figured i would just get it all done since i can't be driving around with an oil leak.

Engine oil change
Transmission with torque converter oil change
brake fluid change
rear differential fluid change
Spark plugs changed

passenger side

below passenger side, some oil

driver side

that must be the most unloved M156 I've ever seen. I have 154k miles on mine and although it's not a show car it does compared to your engine. lol.

to answer your question, the front cam timing cover to my knowledge only contained 1 rubber gasket which is the same part for both sides.

I would recommend doing your valve cover gaskets at the same time.

If you get a metric o-ring kit you’ll be covered for the oil coolers

It looks like the valve covers are leaking to me and maybe the cam adjuster covers, best to do both at the same time as the valve cover has to come off to get to the cam adjuster cover and the cam adjsuter cover is super easy to replace the gasket when the valve covers are off. With the age and miles, valve covers will most likely leak if you remove them anyway and all in it is like 80 bucks in parts. Also when you so the valve cover gaskets you need to 4 spark plug hole gaskets for the valve cover, you have the older metal covers so you need the green colored spark plug hole gaskets not the orange ones.

good to know. i thought i read somewhere that the valve covers wouldn't have to come off for the cam adjuster gasket. i guess it would be safe to do both like you said. do you know the part number for the spark plug hole gaskets you're referring to? so i need just 4?

Tasos has a few videos on you tube and has found a few of those broken, they work like piston rings, they are not common to fail but seems they do fail here and there, good thing you caught it and didn't loose it in the engine when taking it apart.
