I had both motor mounts replaced today at MB with 88,000 miles on the clock. No more vibrations.

I noticed a huge difference in throttle response after install it is a night and day difference. For those on the fence replace them.

I don’t think there will be a next time car is up for sale.

shame you're selling your car. the M156 is the greatest mass produced V8 ever. you'd fall in love with it all over again if you were able to fully unlock that potential through custom tune.

Car is already tuned It is an awesome car but time to try a different daily driver. I am thinking new 911 S in the summer we will see.

I already have a modded corvette convertible so keeping the AMG is out of question since I only have 2 car garage.

I’ll take our bad headbolts and Soft cams over any FCA product.

I have not...but their computers aren't as complicated as the Bosch Motronic 9.7. shouldn't be difficult at all or take too much time for that platform. I've had others inquire about other platforms...Ford Super Diesel, Range Rover Supercharged, etc...would just have to dedicate the time honestly.

On the fence about grabbing the MPVI2. If I did, I'd want to tune the fleet and make it worth the cost/effort.

Problem with the Jeep is, I need to get an unlocked ECU which adds to the cost. I really just wanted to completely disable MDS (Multi Displacement System) and copy the the Sport mode throttle sensitivity map over to non eco mode so it wasn't as laggy.

As for the C63, I don't have the luxury of street tuning since it's trailer only now. Would need to live tune at the track or on a dyno.

all of takes is a couple of internet trips to Mexico to grab datalogs. 😂. from what I've seen is after some time they eventually crack the issue with requiring ECU unlocking. the M156 previously requiring sending in for unlocking as well.

funny you mention sport mode and it's lag...on the M156 I update the throttle mapping for comfort to be a hair more aggressive and in sport mode do the same.

Back on topic, ECE wont be doing motor mounts for the foreseeable future. Which is a bummer. Anyone else want tl step in and fill a gap in the market?

does creative steel steel make engine mounts? Or do they just do the transmission mount?

Any updates on available aftermarket mounts? I'll be doing headers soon and I'd like to replace the mounts while I'm in there.

Black Series mounts stiffer than the stock C63 mounts?

Will be designing headers and if the mounts need to be replaced it sounds like a good compromise between stock and a harsher aftermarket mount.

there are no "c63 black series mounts"
Also 211 E63, and V12 mounts are not really shared with C63 either. Lots of differences. Very blanket statement. Probably because clk 63 black series mounts are a maybach part number.

I don't know what I was thinking with my comment. you are correct. I will edit my post.

also, sorry I own a E63. yes I'm using CLK63 Black Series Mounts. they feel stock is what I was getting at.

VRP might be all that is left for aftermarket mounts for the C63. not sure why ECE is stopping production.

VRP are out of stock, at least at the moment. You would have to check if they plan to make more.

Damn. Having just purchased a 2010 C63, it kind of sucks to see the aftermarket support for the platform dying down.

it’s not, a lot of things have just been developed for it in the past year and I still see a few things in development for it that we have never had
