Question about C63 507 Edition For Sale (Good Deal?)
I will be test driving this 507 edition tomorrow and wanted a second opinion about this listing/car in general before I purchase.
Car is listed for $42k and has 48k miles. Besides the 507 edition of course, packages include Multimedia + blind spot assist. (Missing LSD which is disappointing).
Questions I have: The build sheet does not show it has lighting package, but photos of the car look like it has bi-xenon lights? Was this aftermarket and replaced as Carfax shows minor front end damage or is this how the lights come standard on 507? I'm sure once I'm in the car I can use the steering wheel buttons to see if it has the lighting package features.

I saw a thread searching around saying he had headlight washer flaps on the bumper on his 507 but no washers under them - I have the washer flaps on the bumper also but not sure they have ever done anything so maybe it doesn't actually have washers either - the thread below seems to indicate the US cars did not get the 600 headlight washers when ordering the lighting package.

A few things to note, LSD isn't too hard to add or expensive, so nice to have but so many of these cars don't have them that don't make that a deal breaker. It shows front end damage in 2015 but in a 2017 review, it shows the front bumper is OEM paint but lists the the right door and right rear quarter panel have been repainted. On the plus side it looks like it has michelin pilot sport tires on it.
Check the brake calipers carefully (and the brakes in general) the red calipers (and mine had this issue) had a lot of clear coat peeling off them which makes them look matte red (make sure they are dry and not wet when you look at the car as if they are wet they will look shiny) and also check the rotors for wear as the fronts are 700 each but should have already been replaced by the mileage or they will be very worn out. Last I was at that dealer on the Audi side of the building, they didn't negotiate prices it is one price and they will let you walk if you won't pay it all pricing was fixed, usually not a great deal but below what any guide would tell you by 1000 or 2000.

I was really blown away with the condition of the car as I have test driven a couple other w204s recently to compare so I ended up buying the car on the spot!...
HOWEVER, I was unable to drive the car back to New York as Massachusetts state law does not allow temp plates to out of state buyers so I will have to wait 2-3 weeks for the NY Registration to pick the car back up. (buzzkill)
Yes, unfortunately you were correct regarding the fixed price at these two dealers so ended up paying sticker price. The only issues I was able to find with the car were minor cosmetics (small rock chip on front bumper, one of the meshes covering the BS hood inlets is starting to tear off and the passenger side window button is scratched off. I mentioned these to the dealer since I was paying full sticker and they assured me they would take care of them along with a free alignment and cabin filter replacement.

Let me know if you are interested in a secondary cat delete pipe, I am selling one if you are interested, known as mikes power pipe on the forum, turns up the volume on the exhaust about 20% and is brand new, was experimenting with exhaust setups and bought it for that but then went further and did full cat delete.
