Illuminated door sill fitting instructions
Hi all,
A long time ago member jblaw offered the amg illuminated tread plates with installation instructions.
Does anyone have these instructions please?
The car is a 2014 C63 sedan.
Any help on these instructions or how to install these sill greatly appreciated.

It is for there for sure on the 2013 and i just have the base package entertainment wise. You just have to pull the floor trim panel and then the rubber seal and you can lift the carpet enough to see the connector. Unfortunately the used ones i got from europe were too dented up for my liking so I never installed them

Thanks for your reply. Currently trying to source them now. From MB they are €477 each which is madness, LLLParts are selling for €297 each but only have one side in stock.
i can confirm that on my car cls63 2012 the wiring is already installed but the relay modules are not, i have installed the amg illuminated sills bought used on ebay and installed regular relays instead of the oem ones.

hey, just out of curiosity, did you lower door lights light up or where they blanks? I’m just trying to determine if I’ll need a replay too?

you know the lights underneath your door panel? They are called puddle lights. On some w204 you will have a light, maybe even a bulb in it, however you might not have cables running to it, meaning it won’t light up.
This was an issue on so many of the cars and it meant you had to do a good bit of work routing cables to get the illuminating sills to work.
thankfully on mine I have the lights, and they light up, I also checked if I have the blue connector at my sill to make it plug and play. So I was just wondering if the replay was your only issue or did you have the puddle lights already working for you?
