So someone posted concerns about different dimensions of c63 vs c200. Here’s what wiki says:
Fortunately, the wheelbase is same. There’s a considerable difference in length and minimal in width. Normally, just swapping a c63 hood on c200 would extend out. However, if I swap the complete front end including hood, fenders, grill & bumper, it should all fall in place. No cutting, bolt off - bolt on swap.

Why don't you just transfer the VIN plate and sticker on the door jamb from the C200 to the C63?
If you need a kidney transplant, they take the kidney from the donor and put it in your own body. They don't take all of your organs, muscles, skin, nerves, blood vessels, your entire head and all limbs and try to move and attach everything to the spine and rib cage that the kidney originally came in, which is exactly what you're trying to do here.

wish I could do that. A car older than 3yrs arriving at the port will be straight impounded by customs. Only way of bringing c63 w204 is by parts. By the way, this is straightforward bolt on conversion and doesn’t require any cut & weld. My earlier car below was converted from a simple 1.3L lancer to this one below. Converting a fwd to a proper awd requires sound fabrication skills. The c63 will pose different nature of challenges; mostly electronics related and getting rid of the error codes. This carried local lancer Vin even though I had proper Tommi Makinen Vin with me.
All the naysayers aren't wrong… but at the same time, I can appreciate someone with the will and determination to say F it, I'm doing it anyways cause I want to. Good luck and definitely keep us posted. Curious to see how this turns out…

As insane as the transplant is, that would be sad - but it is indeed a very real possibility.
A more sane engine swap would have been to buy a C300 with an M272 engine and put in an M273 E55 V8 with the 382 hp from any number of donor cars as everything between the two is virtually identical, but hey, some people enjoy the pain. If it were me, I'd build up that M271 I4 in the C200 and twincharge the $h!t out of it. Volvo does it on all of their production cars. Merc has been reliably running 27 psi of boost on all of their "45" AMG engines producing about the same amount of power as an M273 does (~381 hp) without major issues, and with a supercharger to help down at low revs you'd eliminate lag as well. That would have been a neat project.

I’ll be looking for a 4 grade, running car not a salvaged one. As insurance, I’ll change the headbolts before firing up the engine. Headbolts on affected cars can fail whether genuine or converted.

interesting idea for sure. I however, want the full amg experience; from interior to suspension/brakes and that 6.2L v8
And gentlemen we have successfully sourced a donor car. 80k km on the odo and the auction sheet shows its 4 grade. Luckily, its the p30 pp. Comes with jdm wheels but different front to back so I may order a complete set later. Total dent: $20,000
Here are some pics:
You’re actually committed to this. You have my attention, sir. Goodluck! I personally think it will be straight forward swap.

20k is your average. A clean history, clean title, no water damage examples will go for 25k+ at auctions. Then you have to think of auction fees, Transportation, Import tax, Etc.... it’s definitely not cheap. Then in most cases you don’t know what to expect. It might be listed as engine running, but not engine running with a nock. It’s definitely a gamble.

A clean 2009 C63 with MBH Headers, aftermarket CF exterior bits and 507 wheels is locally for sale for $23.8K CAD from a dealer (not the wholesale auction lot where it probably sold for $3K less), which is $19.5K USD. The one that the OP bought in Japan - at a wholesale auction - has mismatched wheels for starters. How is $20K "cheap" for that car?
The most expensive AMG is a cheap one.
C63's in Australia are still hovering around the 35-40k mark for a 2009. If you want something newer or a 507, expect to pay upwards of 65k.
ChrapesCheapest ive ever seen is 29k, but that was for a 2009 that was a repairable write off, meaning the car has been crashed, and the insurance company deemed it too expensive to repair so it was scrapped. It couldn't be registered in NSW, so it would need to be taken overseas or into a different state, or used for racing.
I paid 50k for mine like 4 years ago. With covid pushing tje prices up of all cars, mines currently worth 65k
Tried to keep the car as whole as possible while being cut/disassembled. For example, instead pf taking the dash out, the car was cut in a way to preserve the dash. Similarly, the roof was cut along the pillars. When it arrives, we will open up the spot welds of donor and local car and slide the roof in. My local car doesn’t have a sunroof.
breaks my heart to open up a running c63 but this is the only way. Now a period of long wait as other 5 cars go through the same process.
