Damn! This is a serious undertaking and while I agree it's kinda crazy, if it's the only way to have a C63 in your country, more power to you.
Is the black car all you need for the conversion? The other cars are just going to be shipped along with it?

MBWorld Fanatic!
Pointless government regulation that creates a bunch of hassle and waste. Destroying 2 perfectly fine cars to get one that bypasses all the taxes and regulations. Not blaming the dude for doing it, amazing that people find ways and go through all the necessary steps to bypass all the silly rules
interested to see what all you have to do to make it work and fit

Hey there bro. I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Unfortunately we have almost same rule of not being able to import a car that is more than 5 years old. I am looking forward to your project. I am curious to do the same swap with my C180. Just give us the updates. Regards.

Props to you. I don't think anyone here thought you were even remotely serious. Heck, just look at early comments in this thread. All pointing to crazy talk. 😂
You have my attention. Something tells me this isnt your first rodeo.

Hello,
I’m a new member from Pakistan. Wondering if anyone has converted a normal C class to C63 Amg?
Why you may logically ask? Imports of vehicles older than 3yrs isn’t allowed as per local laws. My only option is to buy a C180/200 locally(easily available) and import C63 in parts and convert.
How bonkers is that?

Decided to hold the engine installation since I ordered headers. Only a few companies make headers for right hand drive cars. Chose a company from Australia; 1 week for headers fabrication and another for ceramic coating and packaging.

Hey mate, im guessing you went with X-force or Di Fillipo then? Any reason why you didn't consider MBH?

which website did you buy these from? Haven't found anything on the manta website. I drive past the manta manufacturing plant every few days so i may pop in and have a chat. Didn't realise they made headers for AMG's.
From my understanding, x force and di Filippo are all made in china. Amongst the HSV and FPV crowd here who runs them, there have been a few cases where welds on headers have failed.
