Is the MCT transmission from the C63 AMG 2012 reliable?
Is the MCT transmission from the C63 AMG 2012 reliable? or I made a mistake not buying a prefacelift C63 AMG with the normal 7 gear transmission with torque converter?

They are just as reliable as pre face lift ,PFL cars.
The difference is the face lift, FL cars use a multi-clutch M/C instead of torque converter T/C.
Just like most single and double clutch transmissions, BMW, VW and Audi all shudder and play up at low speeds.
This is why new BMW's have now gone back to T/C auto for smoother low speed driving demanded by the buying public.
In a straight line start the PFL & FL C63's are level with the M/C FL cars having quicker shifts and a slight gain in fuel economy.
Lets face we don't buy these cars for fuel economy.
