C63 supercharged doesn’t accelerate on peddle shifters
Hey guys,
I had a question on my Magnuson supercharged C63 w204. When using the peddle shifters on manual mode the car doesn’t want to accelerate and all you hear is the noise and the car barely moves. The rpms don’t shoot up it’s like the car is struggling to get going. Also the car was recently tuned (TCM) by Eurocharged but the problem was the same before the tune and now after the tune. Any ideas what it could be?

traction control? If you floor it in s or s+ it hooks and goes?
S+ mode with traction on sport, the car feels like it’s reviving but not going.

traction issue. Get on a highway no cars manual mode high gear see how it does. I bet it’s traction. What are your tire specs? Dyno means nothing if you can’t put it down. Get some drag radials or r compound will change your driving life. Looks like it’s moving in the video

have you been to your local mercedes repair to do a diagnostic using STAR/DAS to confirm there isn't an issue with the transmission or control module? in terms of the video...looks like you're not making anywhere near 600whp, let alone 600 crank hp. your performance issue is related to your tune. shelf tunes have no place on any supercharged setup unless you want serious problems. for each and every one of our customers, even with similar setups mapping is very different. we could not even fathom giving one customer another customers file and vise versa. it takes a lot of time to fine tune a supercharged tune to perform better and more reliable than the factory tune on a factory engine.
also, one thing to mention...Sport mode in the lower gears although still allows tire slip will limit power which may be why you're not seeing the performance you expect as well.
I’ve tried traction off and with the paddle shifters still same issue, I’m currently going to order the sledge hammer 8 rib kit and retune the transmission. Hopefully it will fix the issue I have.

All jokes aside, why not focus on get it running properly as is before adding more boost into the equation?
The car was bought through Mercedes-Benz and the previous owner of the car was someone that worked at HPTuners. I’m not sure who installed the SC but I had this problem previously and thought tuning the ecu at ( Eurocharged ) would fix it but still having the same issue. The car accelerates on auto normally, but as soon as you go into manual mode and press the throttle you hear the car rev but barely move ( the rpms don’t shoot up so I know the clutch is good ). I’m keeping the car for a long time and just want to sort out the problems.
Before the tune Eurocharged added catless headers and removed secondary cats and resonator. After about 80 miles I got a check engine light for p0420 -Catalyst system Efficiency Below threshold bank 1 and p0430 bank 2. I don’t think I noticed much of a power gain.
