Buying a 2014 low mileage C63 from Carvana
It's not a cheap price at ~51K but it's a 2014 with only ~20K miles with just a few options; LSD, performance media and Keyless Go. Am I crazy to spend that as I know the market is crazy as I was able to sell my Giulia for just over what I originally paid.
Has anyone had a buying experience with Carvana? I don't mind the idea of buying online as I have 7 days when I receive to make a decision and plan to take it to a shop for a thorough inspection during that time.

My son just bought a Land Rover Velar for Carvana, initially he was thrilled, they gave him a good price for his car, arranged the trade easily, price of the Velar was competitive, extended warranty was reasonable. Then it went downhill once he received the car; Driving home to Philly from SC, got a flat, ok not the end of the world, nearest tire dealer couldn't patch the tire because it had already been patched twice, and they didn't have the size - drove 100 miles out of his way on the donut to get a tire, that dealer told him that 2 other tires were also patched, Carvana is sending him a check to replace the 3 tires, he has yet to receive -it's been 3 Months.
Once home took car to Land Rover dealer to sort out check engine light - Carvana told him to put it thru his extended warranty - he disagreed - used their 150-point inspection process as argument that it should have been discovered then and taken care of. NO go he used his extended warranty. He has had the car now for 3 months and just got the title last week after numerous phone calls - each time was like the 1st time he called - he was livid.
I told him of the reviews I read the #1 negative was Carvana's ability to deliver the paperwork needed to get the car titled. The reviews were 100% correct.
My take on his transaction - their 150-point inspection is worthless, they will pass a bad car off, their ability to get you the paperwork to get it titled in your name awful. be prepared!

Also I know that car prices are crazy now but that price and mileage is what I got mine for back in Nov 2014, crazy times.
Put up a link to the car, might help some.

When it comes to price, I'm buying a vehicle to put a smile on my face every time I drive and that comes at a cost, especially for cars that you just can't get new any more. I've owned many cars in the past 35 years and only two have ever put a smile on my face every single time I drove them; S54 BMW M coupe and a E90 M3.
I went ahead with the purchase and the car will be here Tuesday so will let you know how it goes.
Here is the car listing.

hope it all turns out ok. I’ve bought 3 cars sight unseen and they turned out ok. 85 Colony Park wagon in 2015 had it shipped, 05 Crossfire convertible met the dealer in the parking lot of a Marriott 300 miles away & the 2017 E400 wagon flew to Buffalo to pick up.
much easier having it delivered as opposed to traveling to get
good luck hope it’s all you want it to be
Definitely take the 7 days to do full PPI at a shop - I kept the car because it was in really great condition and had a clean PPI. Carvana customer service was great throughout.
The process really wasn’t bad at all. The car had a few small issues when it was delivered so I had them take it back and fix them before accepting delivery. They took it to the local MB dealership and had it back to me a week later.

I do see Keyless-Go and LSD however.

Car delivery date has changed to Friday but rescheduling seems to be not an uncommon thing.
Re: Tires, are dealers required to replace with like tire type (e.g., summer to summer). The car came with summer tires but I asked and they said new tires were added but in looking pics they seem to be HTR A/S P03 Sumitomo's Ultra High Performance All-Season...I guess they buy as cheap as possible.

Also, like someone mentioned, schedule a dealer PPI. I scheduled mine the day it was delivered, and Carvana approved all the repairs. They are really motivated to make you happy during the 7 day return policy. After that, they will fight you on any other repair, even during the warranty period. I bought their 4 year warranty, and while it did pay for itself, I had to fight tooth and nail for every repair. Unfortunately, every aftermarket warranty company will do the same.

Is Performance Media the same as 255 Track Pace App. I'm not certain as I thought it was code 255.

Haven't had a chance to drive too much but the sound when it first started...music to my ears. Engine sounds good, not ticking or other strange sounds. Steering feels light but pretty responsive. Need to wait for warmer weather and ditching the all seasons to get a better sense of handling.
Question: Car has what seems like adaptive lights but I thought halogens were standard as I have no lighting package. They are the Mercedes ILS headlights that move when I turn the car on. Were these retrofitte?
Car is going to Mercedes dealer on Monday for PPI and my independent mechanic on Wednesday. If that works out, I'm definitely keeping it.

For some reason, the features on the Carvana page don't seem accurate. It seems you actually have a few other cool features they didn't mention.
I see Distronic (adaptive cruise), active blind spot, and lane keep assist. Those were all options.
Even when I bought mine a few years back, Carvana didn't even mention the P31 package, which was confirmed via the datacard.
Looks like you got a pretty well spec'd car. Best of luck with the PPI!
