Selling my Edition 1 Coupe 49,000 miles. But a question for the crowd (see inside)
The Edition 1 package was a 16,000 option. The 507 was an 8,000 option. So, why is there a $30,000 dollar price difference between them?
This car HAS to be the next 507; I just don't think enough people know about them.
Your thoughts?
This is my car, BTW,
This car is worth half?

Overall I think no one knows about them, even the 507 if you take it to like car max they will just offer you 30 grand for it because they don't know what it is. I have never in my life seen an Edition 1 in person, they are almost as rare as a black series. I do feel like the 507 having the black series hood is a big selling point as well as being the swan song model right before the W204 ended. Once the 507's get too expensive people might start to look for other unique models and find the Edition 1 as a nice option. I sold my 507 last year and I thought prices were pretty good but still reasonably fair now they seem to be 15k more, crazy!

The 205 C63 edition 1 had things that couldn't be optioned that were unique to the car and thus the justified price difference. Not to mention the 205 coupes just carry a premium in general.
could easily justify 10k, especially on a well-equipped 507. I do not belive you could have gotten the Edition one seats or steering wheel.
I've always had a thing for rare cars. To me, that's always been a giant bonus.
As a TTA owner (Turbo Trans Am), I see an E1 like those. For years you could pick up a very respectable TTA for around 8k. Now you can't touch one for much under 30, most are much more, and the rarer and lower mile cars have surpassed 6 figures these are the 25 or 26k cars you couldn't give away in the early 2000s.
But back when I drove one daily, no one had any idea GM put a Turbo 6 in a GTA.
Now the world knows about them, and they/ve shot up like a rock.
I think that's going to happen here. The question is how long will it take.
