What is the Best Supercharger Kit?
Hi all,
What are the most current supercharger kits for the w204 and if you had to rank them which ones would land on the top?
looking for a stage 1, maybe stage 2 kit.

Sadly the ESS is discontinued. They won't be retooling for the 3.0L Gen5 Whipple and the 2.9L Gen4 is being cycled out. Any remaining stock of the 2.9L Gen4 Whipple will have been sold to make room for 3.0L Gen5. At some point Weistec will have to retool to adapt to the 3.0L Gen5 if they plan to continue selling their Stage 3 Supercharger kit.

my only guess is it has been updated to the 3.0L Gen5 as since the 2.9L has been discontinued. All they need to do is update their mounting plate to their lower manifold for the new dimensions of the 3.0L

yeah you are probably right. Should pick up a bit of power even under the same pulley and boost setup as it's a fair amount more efficient

i recently emailed Weistec and they said no such thing was happening as of right now they have no plan swapping to Gen 5 3L and said Whipple will continue making the 2.9L so I would double check on what they are selling you.
