Small oil weep/leak
I am currently looking at buying a 2012 C63 with the performance pack plus with 78k miles.
i viewed the car today and all was in good condition. The owner had it recently serviced at MB and sent me links to a video the tech had recorded post service, citing the overall condition of the car.
the only thing that caught my attention was that the tech said there was a very small oil leak that should be monitored, but “nothing to worry about”
I have attached some screenshots from the video. The tech is pointing to an area that seems to be just above the oil pan I believe.
Any advice or knowledge on what this could be would be greatly appreciated!
cheers

You need to read before you comment. I only stated that the upper oil pan does not need engine removal to be re sealed. I never said anything about how to re seal the bed plate. Clearly that job requires engine removal. I know because I did the job myself and didn’t have someone do it for me. Next time read before you comment.

Anyone would clearly read what you put as you saying the upper pan leak can be done without engine removal, even the OP read it the same way I did and replied to you. So maybe before moaning think about how you word replies to people.
Back to the OP/original poster check the rocker covers, oil cap & pcv first and if they are fine it will be the upper pan and engine out. As I said previously though if it’s a small leak not dripping on the ground or loosing oil leave it, keep monitoring it.
