I honestly think that just might be something local to wherever that car is. I can't imagine a 2023 $65k+ car wouldn't have fully LED headlights. I looked again at the VIN decoder for my car and the only headlight-related thing that was on there was this:
632 LED high-performance headlamps
Mine has the same as well
632 LED high-performance headlamps
Also, in the Order Guide under Standard Equipment - Safety & Security it lists "LED Headlamps w/ Adaptive Highbeam Assist"
632 are the standard lights - they do have led hi and low beams from what I can find online. They are the lights you see pictured and compared to earlier in the thread I'm not sure what the inner part is - looks like old school reflective halogen but I'm not sure and can't find anything online:

My CLA 35 has these style lights - the reflector part on the inside has no light in there, which looks exactly like the picture you shared:

Thanks and you too! What do you mean by ETA? To the VPC? My VPC is in GA and I thought I read or heard that the ship would go to Baltimore first so I'm not 100% sure which place my guy meant when he said "stateside."
Hmm It could be either to the port or VPC. Mine is arriving to Long beach port and VPC is at long beach as well.
Thanks! I have it ceramic coated, and get a detail/refresh every 3 months. In between, I wash it by hand. Summer usually weekly, winter .. ehhhhhh whenever it's warm enough.

based on this picture that little led "dot" does not light up on Non upgraded headlights. Thats kinda lame.

That does seem to be true. Strange. That wouldn't bother me much - I just don't think they look as good. Apparently digital lights were omitted on a November build c300 - I wonder if that was so they were prioritized for the c43 during that time or otherwise.
Are the digital lights really worth $1,750 ($1,100 + $650 navigation)?
Guess I missed they required Nav. In that case, not to me, not worth $1750 at all. If I had the kind of budget that would allow for things like that and Studio I'd be looking at something else like @Zee$ did.

The navigation doesn't include the augmented reality thing right, is there another package that requires? If it does include augmented reality I think it is somewhat worth it? You can know precisely which street to turn on, lane to be in and what house number (on compatible streets).

Just checked, Digital Light Package requires either Nav or Pinnacle

No, the AR nav is part of the $1,700 Multimedia Package which is part of the pinnacle trim, and includes nav, AR, and HUD,
Like others have said. Most people have specc'd pinnacle for ambient lighting, etc. so really not an added cost there - you're just paying for the lights.
I would think if you want the extra ambient lighting that you'd want the light show too.

I got the pinnacle trim mainly for the Burmester sound upgrade. I had to have that.. The other stuff like the additional ambient, HUD etc I wouldn't pay extra for if it wasn't part of that pinnacle pkg.

Spot on. To ensure the C43 stands-out on the inside, you MUST equip Pinnacle. In addition, the AR-based Navigation is really useful and a cool party trick.
For the exterior, I feel it's a must to get Digital Light & Pano Roof, although I cannot stand how the glass roof doesn't extend all the way back...
@alexasa@Dragula - how are you feeling with resale? Do you think these will hold up well?m

I really didn't think too much about resale. I usually keep my cars pretty long. I've had my 2014 CLA for 9 years and my plan is to keep the 43 for a long time as well, I don't do a lot of mileage (My CLA just crossed 60K) and I plan to get the extended warranty at some point.

I also chose the pinnacle cuz I want the burmester as well. There are different types of Burmester depending on the number of speakers.

I'm almost 100% sure I'm leasing. Doesn't change me trying to get the best deal possible on purchase price but residuals should be better than my current car.
You just need to vinyl wrap that part of the roof - that's what I plan on doing. Tint + gloss black vinyl roof + ceramic coating is my first stop
