2023 C 43 Order Guide
Hot off the presses, MBUSA just announced the W206 C 43!
The dealer ordering guide is also available as of today. I know this is the W206 C 63 forum, but there isn't one for the C 43, so this seemed like the best place to post.
Please also see the MBUSA Quick Reference Guide. Arrives at US dealers late 2022, but don't be surprised if that slips into 2023!

thanks for posting. Some wins for the 43 for sure. Maybe it will finally be a real AMG. lol. I think the weight these electronics add will be a let down overall on the performance. the rear steering is cool, maybe it wont handle as bad now. at least the tire setup from factory is good. wont really need to do much. has race mode and launch control. cool. engine is definitely a let down per spec sheet. 4.6 0-60. i assume testing will reveal its faster. The question becomes how far can that little amg engine be pushed. looks like it is closed deck and has forged pistons. So what can those rods take and what is the turbo limit? Probably only turbo upgrade option will be to bore it out maybe depending on what electronics looks like. This car will probably be great for people that dont want to mod, but modding it may prove to be difficult. I am sure the c63 with the extra electronics will only be even more difficult to properly tune. Until i see some more testing and real world feedback I am happy with my old c43

I just ordered a 2023 C43 and am having some second thoughts:
1. Is the selenite grey magno (297) a mistake over the moonlight white metallic (885)? The demo car is white and looks cool, but the magnos from mercedes seem pretty special. my ideal would be graphite, but they don't 'have that for the C43.
2. Is the pinnacle trim (DX2) worth it for $2,800? I'm mainly interested in the burmester. Is burmester even that big of an upgrade to the regular sound system? I've seen lot of youtube reviews say it's overrated. I'm not sure if I care for any of the other tech from DX2 other than the required navigation for the digital light package.
3. Is the carbon fiber package (DC4) worth it? Carbon fiber mirrors are fine, but a carbon fiber rear spoiler seems weird to me given the color difference between the body and the carbon fiber. Am I missing anything here?
4. Is it a mistake to get the performance seat package (DE4) over the advanced performance seat package (DE5)? Am I missing out on anything else with not getting the advanced package besides the side bolsters, which I don't really care about?
5. Will the heat and noise insulating acoustic glass (851) block out some of the natural AMG engine noise? I'm also getting the 339 performance sound.
This is my first AMG and I don't know a ton about the line. Appreciate it.

Are you guys located in the US? If so, how did you place orders? I’m in the Boston area and have been talking to my salesman daily. He cannot order a ‘23 yet. I stopped by today and saw that the system only shows a coupe and convertible available, which I assume are w205.

The order bank probably isn't open yet. There's no indication when it will be open, but the dealer should know when it happens.

OK thanks, that makes sense. I have a pretty close relationship with my dealer, so as soon as I am able to place an order I will post details. Meanwhile, looking forward to others ordering details, eta’s, etc..

Configured my car today. When I got home I realized he omitted the red seat belts, so I’ll definitely be making a revision.
On another note they had a base model (non amg line) ‘22 C300 sitting on the lot. I have to admit, the car looked a bit underwhelming, particularly when parked next the the new S class, CLS and CLA (not pictured).
Obviously, I’m banking on the C43 to appear much more striking.
Also, does anyone know the difference between standard ambient lighting and enhanced?

Agreed on the performance studio package; it was missing on the debut videos a couple weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing clear pics of it.
I was on the fence with the night package II. But again, it further distinguishes it from the base model, so well worth it in my opinion.

Has anyone had their order confirmed by the dealer yet? I made a request two days after the announcement and haven't heard back. When is it normal to hear back from the dealer confirming the order?
