C43 2024 Delivery and base price?

I just placed an order for a C43 last weekend, expecting a 2023 model, but was surprised to find they were taking orders for the 2024 instead. I know the cost for all the options, but unfortunately they didn't have the 2024 base price (assuming an increase over the 2023) and couldn't give me any idea of timing for production to start, so there's a lot of unknowns. Has anyone heard/read anything more concrete? I don't mind waiting, but not knowing how long I'll be waiting is less than ideal.

I'd assume you will take delivery of MY24's before end of year - maybe as soon as October. Car is certified, etc. and the process between MY's is much smoother with no major changes to the car.

MB has been holding new MY releases, seemingly, based on inventory currently sitting at dealerships though - so that could impact timing.

My dealer didn't think there would be a price increase, but like you said there is no pricing information yet.

I don't know either, but I do know this:
Most car manufacturers like to keep the first year model prices low and then increase for the second MY.
And, according to the German media, 2024 C 300 is getting 10,000 Euro price increase in Germany, mostly due to the included standard equipment that was previously optional.

Mine guessed a $2000 increase on the base price, but hopefully there’s no increase at all.

We already have the order guide for 2024 c43. There is no forced options. Base price will remain the same for the most part. The only changes were consolidation of options. For example digital led headlights are now part of pinnacle package. But the cost of pinnacle and digital light has not changed

We shall see. Meantime, the German inflation is running at over 7% and Dollar is down 10%.

You just said that the price went up due to forced options.

Now it's inflation? I'm confused sorry

What I said was that German media reports that in Germany c300 would be 10k euros more due to additional options mostly. It does not mean US market would follow.
The other point is independent of the above, that the inflation is there and dollar is down. So the MB would make less profit in real terms if prices remain the same.
