2022 C63 AMG: Yes or No?
I don't know how they got the quad exhaust tips in there, but not really surprised since they got the panamericana grill on. Aside from the quad tips, the rest of the rear bumper also looks exactly like a C300 with AMG line. Typically, '63 styling would call for a much more aggressive rear bumper, with a significantly larger lower black half.
Also, isn't it supposed to be the 63e? Methinnks this dealer just took a regular C300 and slapped some AMG bits on it.
All that said, I am really looking forward to the new C63e. I am not particularly attached to the V8. I know this design change makes the car far less attractive to AMG purists. I totally get that. Hopefully this means I can negotiate a good deal for one.

So obvious, giveaways are the C63S badge on the rear that's smeared which will not end up being that way for the 206, it'll have some E performance nomenclature included and speaking of which there's no designation of such or indent on the side front quarter panels where it'll most definitely have E performance badging.
I believe the final product will be mega and am happy the range will include coupe and convertible which at first were thought to be discontinued.

that said, if its your daily driver the change from a V8 will be tipped to the negative side! it will drive much less smooth!
if its only used for some weekend & track days i think it will be an improvement over the the V8 model.
for me, i don't have enough money to own an AMG only for a few days in a year sadly... the car i buy is used as daily driver so i vote no

Unfortunately the sound will suffer but that’s part of the latest European noise regulations that has killed the sound even from cars like the latest E63s and AMG GT BS…

I'm of the opposite opinion ie. keep the V8 as the weekender or 2nd or 3rd car and that will also satisfy the desire of having a V8

Depending indeed on how it drives regarding use as a DD it should be far better than any previous C63.
It has AWD which instantly makes it a better all year round all weather useable vehicle and efficiency/range which will suit DD usage much better than the current and previous C63's.
It will come with multiple drive modes, hopefully comfort mode is smooth enough, rear wheel steering option will also add to DD useability.
There'll be no doubts about it's straight line performance which is what counts most for a DD, it'll have to match up to or beat the BMW M's the X drive variants are down to low 3's 0-100km/h (0-62) pretty impressive straight out of the box

Only thing missing will be the V8 soundtrack, no problem keep or get a V8 as well
4 cylinder - hell no
hybrid - boring
AWD - boring
500+ pound weight gain - unacceptable.
AWD sucks for driving dynamics (unless you like the car doing things for you) and you can't hide a 500 lb weight gain, regardless of hp increase. Weight is weight. Honestly I'd rather have an EV than the complicated mess described above (and I have zero desire to own an EV). The V8 engine is the only reason I wanted a C63 in lieu of an M3. The draw of the V8 was so big I could overlook the lack of manual transmission (which is what I prefer). Take away that draw and, lol, nope 8 days a week.
