That's the manufacturer's claimed weight for a dry, "bare bones" M3 with a 6MT.

The M3 with DCT weighs over 3,400 lbs.

My guess is that a well-optioned M3 with DCT and a full tank of gas well weigh close to 3,650-3,750 lbs.

I doubt there are many stock real world e92's weighing less than 3600 lbs. I don't see the F80/82 weighing more than 3500 lbs loaded up.

I agree with there not being any real world e92's weighting less then 3,600 lbs. I can see the F80/2 coming in in at roughly 3,600 - 3,650 pounds loaded up. It's really not that light compared to it's predecessor.
