E Class Mule?

Wellp for those starting from the beginning I think I was totally wrong on the blackseries focus so don't want to get anyone else overly excited for no reason.

Fenders still look rather weird for anything but an AMG mule but I digress.

Consensus is that this is most propably an E.

Who knows

I'd like to think so but unfortunately the tire size has already been leaked to be same profile as is today, therefore negating the need for flares of this magnitude IMO.

Who knows at the end of the day that's the beauty of speculation but a BS sedan would be ****.

Actually there were just spy shots released indicating 265-section rear tires for the 18"-equipped W205 C63:

https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...ied-china.html

There was a bad photoshop floating around earlier in which the tire and wheel sizes were terribly mismatched. This fake photoshop incorrectly listed 255-section rear tires for 18" wheels.

The folks on the Private Lounge came out and said the information was fraudulent.

Don't give up hope yet. See the link above (which is also posted in the W205 C63 section here).

Black Series versions always come at the end of model life, not at the beginning so am very dubious this is a black series ref SLK CLK SLS and last C

Yeah also doubt it is a Black Series.
Also, did Merc not make it clear they won't make a 4 door Black Series?

And if it's for real - how the '17 model will be shaped...........diggin those fender flares!!

Assuming the design holds, looks kinda like a combo W204 and W205, just a mid-sized version.............with tad long wheelbased than the long wheelbase C-Class sold in China.

Yes
How about if that was the real 2015 C63, and what we have seen thus far has been a decoy/standard C fenders & quarterpanels?

AMG stated that the Black Series designation would only be for 2 door coupes. They said this back in 2007 when the first BS was introduced and they still stand by those words today.

Makes sense. It's weird that the next standard "E" has the AMG front bumper.

I think the current, standard E550 looks more like an AMG than the current LCI E63 does.

I wonder if MB and AMG are going to swap the front fascia designs (giving the standard cars the A-wing style front splitter and reverting back to the large, gaping front air dams for the AMG cars). That will be sure to create some confusion.

I love the large gaping air dams. It's one thing(design wise) that drew me to the previous generation M3. Giving the normal series cars the A wing splitter will make them look absolutely gorgeous!
