Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving.

Cars.
I'm re-thinking the Sedan. The coupe is going to look gorgeous, if the S class coupe is anything to go by.

So I am going to make a few/most of you jealous....

I will be in Palm Springs for my annual AMG Expert training where I will be driving the AMG GT and yes, the new C63 S!! I believe I will be driving it before the press which is exciting. I plan on taking a lot of photos/videos.

Can't wait to see the photos/videos! Hopefully we'll also get a review on the car also.

Just curious, but would you be fine with having your car in the shop for 2 months(Not at one time, but combined due to multiple visits. The longest my car was at the shop without getting it back though was a month or a month and a week.) out of the 11 month's you've owned it?

Yes
As long as I had a loaner and the dealer was working with me

I counted about 1 month
The control module when you said they ordered the wrong parts a few times

The rest look like they were done over night or same day
Possibly with the exception of the turbo/oil lines
This is your side of the story
We have not heard MB's nor will we
Judging from your rant & whine I have no doubt it is exagerted and embellished

How many miles on the car?

Couldn't get a loaner due to the fact that I'm not 21. So during the whole time I didn't have a car. None of that stuff is exaggerated and embellished at all. Even talked to the guy which is a Field Service Manager of Western services here in Canada twice. In the final talk that's when he agreed that it's best to exchange the car especially since they couldn't figure out what caused the last 2 losses of acceleration, and that he'll write a report to his boss about all the issues, then MB Canada will decide to help out with the exchange or not. In the end they decided to help out considering all of the issues, and with the help of my dealership i got a extremely good deal.

My car only has 14k km currently.

So you say re:accuracy of events, etc
You not getting a loaner is not MB's problem
Who knows what deal you will get since the price of the c63 is unknown
You will trade in a hard to get car for credit against mrsp of unknown magnitude
Partial credit referenced to what you have into it
That will be an expensive $/km cost lol
New payment >$1200 month ???
We shall see
If you think you will get ahead of MB or even break even you are more naive than you appear
Good luck lol

Ya I basically made that thread just to have all the issues that i've had written down in one location etc, and to see others opinions, and advice on how to deal with the issues. I agree the loaner thing isn't MB's problem at all. Also I already know the deal. Basically I'm allowed to drive up to 18k km, and I'll only lose 7k off the amount I paid. (Car was 71k so I'll be getting 64k as a trade in) Considering how much values cars lose, and how many km it'll have it's quite a good deal. As for the MSRP the dealership and I predicted that it'll be in the low 70s considering that the C63 coupe costs 67k.
Also thanks.

What?
Car was 71k
You have paid almost 9k in payments
I assume you had a down payment? Say 10k minimum
That leaves 52 or so
And they are giving you 64?
After you pay it off you'll have 12k
You have outlayed 20k or so
It cost 8 to drive it for 9 months
Look at it this way
They are 8 ahead if they sell the car for 64
And they roll into a more expensive car at msrp
There is no way the cla was 71 and the c63 will be few k more

That is you are to be believed

Post a pic of this lemon lol

I got a fully loaded CLA 45. With taxes and all it was 71k (Here in Canada a base coupe C63's MSRP was 67k You can get a 507 edition at 80k). also the dealership checked how much i'd have as down payment for when the new C63 came in and he said that it'd be around 15-17k. (Since I'll have about 22-24k paid off by May). As for the dealership making money. Of course they'll be making money off this. Although it's still quite a amazing deal that they're giving me considering the fact that other dealerships (BMW, Audi etc) were only willing to give 52-54k for it. Also here's a pic of the lemon.

You are making a mistake
I would keep the cla, awd is better for you
Ask for 2 months worth of payments as credit
Have them cpo it for an extra year
Give you the next 2 services for free

But they won't willingly do it because it COSTS them money rather than making more like the other deal
But I would convince them to

Good advise there. Would have done that if the dealership actually fixed the issues. Sadly the last time the car lost acceleration twice they weren't able to figure out whats wrong other then that the computer gave a overheated transmission warning. So don't really feel confident in the car due to that. Also the car has rattles in plenty of locations, and the dealerships also unable to get that stuff fixed. Plus issues just keep constantly popping up in the car. So in the end I'd rather have a fresh start with a new vehicle like the C63. It'll end up costing a bit more, but at the same time i'll be a better vehicle when it comes to performance, interior, engine, quality, and hopefully I won't have as many issues with it.

I don't buy that
That they can't fix
Unless they don't want to in order to suck you into the next deal
Next car will have the same issues

Honestly, no offense, but I think you are not being forthright

Well I even gave the service manager the car for the weekend and they couldn't figure out the issues, and fix them. So currently they aren't able to fix the stuff. Since then the car has gotten even more rattles etc, but I'm not bringing it in since they weren't able to fix the last rattle issues nor figure out what occurred with the loss of acceleration. Plus either way I'm already getting the C63 so this'll be there problem once the new C63 arrives and not mine. I just hope that they'll be able to fix all the rattles and the stuff, and figure out the loss of acceleration issues so that the next owner doesn't have to deal with them. Also ya the C63 will have some issues, but it shouldn't have as many, and they shouldn't be as serious. It also shouldn't be losing acceleration so many times etc. So I just hope that I'll have better luck with the C63.

No offense taken. I''m not surprised that you're having doubts about all of this. I'd have my doubts also if I was in your position. Only proof that I can really offer that all this is true is the fact that MB Canada, and my dealership are willing to give me such a good trade in deal to get me into another car.

I'll leave it at this
Anything can be fixed, I suspect it already is
They would not put you in danger, not with all the car related suits currently going on
You are making a mistake, you should make a deal with them along the lines I proposed
You are making a mountain out of a mole hill
Your (or your dads) money, I have no dog in this fight

most of it is stuff everyone already knows.

doubt we will get all those colors here for the exterior.

What i want to know is the price. If this car ends up being too expensive i might get the m3/m4.
