By the way on the U.S order guide (Page 35 of the link I'll post) at the edition one section it says

Yet again. I live in Canada. So the launch dates could be different. I know that they're not bull****ting because I was at the dealership yesterday to sign some papers, and they showed me the production date, and planned delivery date on the website they use to check up on the cars they ordered etc. I'll check up with them a week after the cars built to see if the delivery date changes.

The issue is that MB doesn't release pricing until a month or a few weeks before the car is released. So there's no way to really know what it'll cost 100%. Instead you can just guess. So basically I talked to the dealership about this, and they said that the base price of the c63 should be about 4-5k more then the last c63. So that'll put it at about 70k. Then I believe that the S should cost about 7k more since that's what the performance package costs on some of the other models. Afterwards I checked out the option prices on the C400, and made a estimate guess of the final cost of my car based off that.
It's true that I may end up in another lemon like car, but it's highly unlikely. I expect some issues with it, just as I expected some annoying little issues with the CLA. Although I won't be expecting the C class to turn out to be a lemon; losing acceleration etc multiple times, and not being able to drive it for long periods of time.
As for the 507 Edition. I just didn't feel comfortable sitting in that car. Seat positioning wasn't all that great in my opinion, and I personally didn't like the interior to much. While on the other hand I felt quite comfortable in the new C class, and like it's interior. Added on I'll be getting the performance seats which I'm already comfortable with since I have them already in my CLA.

Yeah regardless. Being 24 that's something I don't think I want to spend money on. I'm going to do full bolt on as soon as everything is available. So I don't see the reason to get the S model.

Active engine mounts aren't considered fbo but I think I'll be OK with out them haha. What are they for comfort? If so I'll be fine. I'm coming from a FBO 335i that was pretty low

I have driven both C63's. There is a pretty nice difference between the two. That's all I can say for now.
I had a E90 335 fully modded myself. I know what those cars are capable of.

There will be a significant difference between a S an non S. The active engine mounts alone should help handling. I'm also pretty sure the e-diff is able to transfer torque quicker than a mechanical one.

So if the 2015 AMG comes out in March as a MY15 model, should we expect the MY16 model to come out in the fall of 2015 still ? does it imply those who ordered the new car now will have it for about half a year only before it is "replaced" by a newer model year ?

Since we placed our orders way back. I placed a deposit in July. So I'm assuming I'm pretty close to the beginning of the list. Production starts in March when do you think we should expect our cars?

A customised Edition 1?
So I just ordered a C63S edition 1 in Obsidian black with heads up display, air balance, and the hands free trunk opening stuff. Dealership said that it'll be built in March (Don't have a exact date. Should have it in a few days or tomorrow), and that it'll probably arrive sometime in April-May.
Can someone please confirm this? I find it hard to believe especially because Edition 1 doesn't even have the multimedia package ( no satnav)!!

I've just been in discussions with a dealership in TX and I'm told that you can't customise Edition 1. No packages like heads up display can be added. You can only choose the colour.

Edit- After checking out the U.S order guide you're right. Hopefully it's just a error in the order guide that needs to be fixed otherwise that'd be a huge stupid mistake on Mb's end in my opinion. Hopefully JPMBenz can provide some added info on this for U.S customers.
