Ya they should like I don't get the point of keeping it hidden when it's finalized. Also haha ya seeing the chat, and the responses to it even pissed me off.

What did the Private Lounge say? The only thing I can think of is that they are waiting for the official press release which may not be until next week. Press release will have the pricing and other stuff. Seems like the build configurator is ready to go, someone just needs to hit a button for it to go live.

Press releases are usually distribute on the wire on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This year I'm running the Dunlop Winter Maxx, which are dedicated studless snow/ice tires. While they're not as dynamic as the Blizzaks in cold/dry conditions, they are a Godsend on snow and ice.
How would u characterize the ride in dry conditions with those tires on. Do you feel like you're sacrificing a lot of performance? If I ever got torquey RWD car like the c63 as a DD, I'd probably go the dedicated true-snow tires also.

That's a great question. I would say that dry grip is definitely diminished just because of the decreased width on the rear tires. Compared to performance winter tires, the turn-in feel in dry conditions is a bit squishier too (due to the more aggressive tread pattern/sipes).

That said, it's a blast to be able to burnout on command (of course this can be accomplished with the summer setup as well). You can also hang the tail out at much lower speeds/with minimal revs, which will allow you to further develop your car control skills a tad bit more safely (not advocating doing this in traffic by any means ).

If you're cruising around on dry roads in C mode though, you shouldn't have any problems. Furthermore, you can still mash the throttle while rolling at highway speeds without killing yourself.

The main benefit of the dedicated studless winter tires is that they dispatch of snowy/icy conditions with ease. We just had a little under a foot of snow dumped on us this past weekend (heavy, wet snow) and I was able to get everywhere I needed to go with ease. Whether I was starting from a stop on a hill or having to brake hard because of idiot drivers in front of me, I always had supreme confidence that the tires were going to do their job.

Hope that helps. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any additional questions.

Nice! Did they tell you the route that the car would travel to get to your dealership? Also did they say that April 25th is the Windsor delivery date or your dealership delivery date? (My dealership is still sticking to this story lol) Btw I think we might get our cars early since Ik someone which purchased a CLA at my dealership and his build date is March 21st, and the delivery date is May 5th. So no way should it take the same amount of time for a car to arrive from Alabama and a car from Germany.

Haha my dealership actually know's that it's coming from Alabama. Although I guess they can't really say anything other then what the system tells me. Who knows maybe there's a system error here in Canada where the delivery dates are based off if the car was arriving from Germany.

And you guys are probably getting the Aptil 25th date because that's probably the first day they are allowed to release them there. The GTS are already here in the US but the owners can't get them until the release date. They call it backloading. Your cars will probably be there before April 25th but that will be the first day of release there.

True thats possible since it also happened with the CLA 45. Hmmmm I'll call MB Canada tomorrow to see what the exact release date is. I'll also ask them when we could expect pricing to come out out... Maybe they'll tell me

It's so that they have enough cars for launch. Here in the US they don't have to backload because they are getting built here. It makes sense. That's probably why Canadian cars go into production first. They probably have to have enough for the launch. I'm assuming the Us launch will be the 25th too.

The cars are held more of EPA testings/approvals. Also, last minute software updates can be done at the VPC.

Amanuuh and I have the one of the first C63 S coming off the line in the first 10 days of April. Canadian cars maybe earlier.
