Hey guys, new to the fourm, I am planning on ordering a c63, I cant decide between black or white. I owned both colours before and love both.
In the past I would say def black for a benz or silver. But white is looking good on the new models.
Help me decide, for the regular c class, I am leaning towards black right now, but with the added details of an amg - exterior wise i think the white might help show it off better.
The last two pics I took at my dealer as I was trying to decide between palladium and diamond white. First two are for you to compare obviously. This car will look great in all colors but brown
Just my 2cents definitely one of the white or silver colours, white and silver show off the lines and shape of a vehicle much more than black and as well as looking better it is a safer colour in terms of accident ratios especially due to not being easily visible at night time.
The other problems I have with black is it's impossible to keep them looking clean for any length of time and any small blemish or scratch stands out a lot more than it would for the lighter colours.
At the end of the day though it's all a personal choice, go with whichever colour you prefer regardless of other peoples choice
I do think the C looks good in white, but the obsidian black shows off the lines just as well on my CLS as the lighter colored cars and in most instances makes it look more sleek and flowing. I'll be getting my C63s in Obsidian.
I've had two in regular black (C320 and ML 550) and two in obsidian (E550 and GL550). The C63s on order will be in obsidian just because it shines more brightly in sunlight... BTW, I live in TX where there is a lot of sunlight.
Brother in law had a C63 sedan in white and it looked bland to me. His C63 Coupe in matte black looked menacing, but he traded it in for an M5 in white, which looks really sharp!
Go with what color you like as you can't really go wrong.
Black cars are beautiful... for about 5minutes. Then when you are done cleaning the bucket and rolling up the hose the car is already dirty and doesn't look as good.
I'm exagerating, but not that much. I wash my car about 4 times a year, white is the best color for me.
All of my previous AMG and MB vehicles have been either black, white, or silver and of those diamond white was my favorite but if I was ordering another C63 it would be lunar blue for three reasons - after seeing an E63 in lunar blue I think it looks phenominal especially in sunlight, the W205 is not available in any shade of red, and because almost every MB I see on the road is either black, white, or silver.

both look great... but, i always base it on how often i can clean the car or have it cleaned, and how long it'll stay clean. if i were to decide between getting a c63 in black or white, i'll first thank god for giving me the good graces to afford one... then, get it in white!

100% on the same page with you. I'm guilty of having a white W204 right now, but I want to get something different this time around. I'm just hoping that they decide to bring Brilliant Blue Metallic to the US. Don't get me wrong; I like Lunar Blue, but I love Brilliant Blue.
