Manual Rear Sun Shade Mandatory....?
Your thoughts on what might be going on here before I call my guy back with a bit of attitude? I don't believe MB would force me to buy anything I don't want. With my build date 50+ days from today, how would this one change cause me to lose this allocation?

Thanks.

Its not like its an already built car. I also don't think the order could freeze this early. Why don't you drive down to Fletcher?
I guess my next question is can I have a shop remove these immediately or are they permanent?
Plan B, have them remove it at the stealership (again not charging you $380).
In other news, I think this is a pretty cool option. I had them on my e55. If you do keep them, I'm sure you can remove them and sell it pretty easily. Rear seat sunshades have always been manual.

Out of curiosity, why the hate in for the sunshades?
I'm over it. After researching it a bit, I found out it might actually be a good option to have. However, I'm big on integrity and honesty and know that games can be played in this market. I've had some really good sales people over the years and always give them the highest score and feedback possible on their customer service surveys. So I take good care of them when they take good care of me.
I don't really hate the sunshades....my initial frustration was with the idea of being forced to pay for something I never requested and then told I would lose my allocation if I didn't. I think its a good option but never asked for it. Like I said, if I find out he lied, I will be sure to share my thoughts with MBUSA and his boss.
Having said that, I'm taking his word for it because its only $300 and I'm not sure anyone would risk getting a bad customer service report for a few dollars in profit.
My last post was in response to the recent comments added to this thread. As far as I'm concerned, this issue and thread is closed.
