2016 Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe spied for the first time
Wow - congrats that's confidence jumping in before it's even released

Hope all goes well and great to see another Aust owner here, look forward to your eventual reviews, feed back etc.
Absolutely, I'll post back once I get details on Aus specs.
Cheers
Mike
If this is true, I am going to be very happy.
I am blaming most of these quality issues of the C63S sedan on Alabama production, foolish of me or not. I find it highly coincidental that the first time the W205 is being produced in the US, we get a ****-ton of initial quality issues.

When I visited dealership the salesman showed me on his computer that 2016MY est production build date was August 2015 in Alabama.
I seriously do not want to spend $80K-ish for something coming out of Alabama.....

AFAIK all AMG wagon (estate) and coupe variants of all MB models destined for all markets are produced in Germany, only the W205 C63 sedans in the U.S are produced/assembled locally there.
This is for AMG's only not the regular variants at least that is the situation now, who knows what MB will do with future production as they are busy building more and more production facilities all over the World.
Congrats and yes definitely get back to all of us on your experiences on this topic.
I'm going to get the chance soon (I hope) to take a German made W205 C63 away for a weekend and see how it compares on the build quality side compared to a W205 C250 Sth. African sourced sedan I had for 3 weeks a while ago which was plagued with build quality issues, I'm hoping the German built example will be a lot better....fingers crossed.
Can relate to that for sure, it's one of the many reasons I always wait until late in a model runs life before buying a vehicle I'm interested in, later means that usually problems are sorted out, all the latest updates with tech, styling etc. are out and are usually better than the initial release and as you pointed out the ultimate variants of that model are released later on as well which is all good if your aiming to get a specific choice.

IMHO, this type of move only delays the first year issues to the second year. It's likely Alabama will still have issues the first year they get the car. I guess I'm lucky to be at 1300 miles on my car and have had absolutely no problems yet.
Engine and chassis modifications were done in Germany, then final assembly in Alabama.

I like the W204 more than the C204, now the tables have turned and the C205 coupe IMO is much better looking than the W204 sedan. Can't wait for the C63 S Coupe.
