My Weistec M178 4.0L Biturbo Build
I took delivery of my 2016 GT-S Edition 1 just over a week ago. I am already handing it off to the guys at Weistec for some power and performance modifications.
As most of you know Weistec has had an M177 and M178 motor in their R&D center for quite some time and have developed a line of go fast goodies for both motors.
For the first stage of the build Weistec will be installing their new stainless mandrel bent downpipe and midpipe, Weistec dry filters and their exclusive ECU tune.
Here is a link to the build thread. I will be updating it with photos and info as it progresses.

Even if the C63S is 2-3 tenths and 2-3 MPH slower, it would be amazing. Add a simple 100HP/100TQ flash tune and these cars are going to be monsters!
The most amazing part of all of this is that my CLK Black Series could only run a 12.1 when it was stock and it came from the factory with 4 more HP than my GT-S. In order to run an 11.25 I had intake mods, high flow filters, long tube headers, cat delete and race gas tune. A 100 shot of nitrous got me down to an 11.00. Now we are talking about stock cars with less HP running these kinds of times.

But... But.. Say it aint so
You dumped your SLS Black Series Monsta'
Argh that was wayyyyy sweeter & much more of a beast.. Too bad you couldn't keep them all... But I'm guessing it was in w/New out w/Old argh... SLS Blk was a keeper esp after ALL those choice Wiestec Go Fast goods
Edit: I haven't clicked over to the build page yet.. I'm goin to fathom a Post mod HP guess here now, Stock it's what 500 odd BHP? I'm bettin' Wiestec cranks it up to 600-650 whp.. Gotta have a small range as I'm not even certain what she makes in Stock form... Good Luck & enjoy another epic build! Lastly if you were able to drop that 60' down from 1.88' on that 11.40 run to a easily believable 1.68 that's 4 tenths off the big end as you already know & a very capable Basement 11.00 1/4 in same weather etc.. Just a slight improvement in 60' dayum that's a lil' factory Hotrod right there & w/mods I wouldn't rule out Basement 10's @ 136+ mph that's my 2nd Post Tuning Perf guess

The GT is a quick car, I have only made three passes with it so I know it will go faster. I think it can go 11.25 the way it sits on stock rubber. I am looking into seeing if some 18" wheels with some DR's mounted up will clear brakes and fenders. ECU tune, Weistec downpipe and DR's and this thing will be well into the 10's.
