Jay as in Jim? JrCart?
I came here to comment that as well. I believe it may have even been an 11.41, but whatever it was is far more impressive than this renntech noise at 11.2, tuned...
Excuse me while I go buy an e63s, tune it, and have a faster car with an extra $50k in the bank.

Yes, Jim I apologize. Something must be wrong. Jim's GT ran basically the same numbers without an ECU Tune. Is Renntech showing us baseline numbers?

I think it is pretty clear that this car is tuned and Jim's was stock. However, there are probably a few things that really play into it..
Altitude, temps, etc. But I think the most important is the driver. I've got a feeling whoever was behind the wheel of Jim's car (maybe it was even him) is a little more skilled.
There is always the real possibility that the tune really only picked up 2 tenths as well. If that is the case, like I mentioned before, I'll just buy an e63s. I love my w204 c63 but a time will come when something new ends up in my possession. I was really hoping to find an excuse to pick up a gts.
Time will tell and I'm sure whatever happens with Jim's car at Weistec is going to be extremely impressive and industry leading when it comes to this platform. Honestly, Renntech has just become overpriced, conservative, but reliable... perhaps over-protective.

That's impressive and it's only just the beginning for these new AMG models
purpleheartAMG you may just have to bite the bullet and wait for AWD, you won't be the only one and I'm betting it is just a matter of time we'll see AWD at least as an option across most new AMG models, after all these new model platforms have all been built to accommodate LHD/RHD - RWD/AWD within a common platform

ADV just put a 12'' wheel on the back with a 325 tire on the gt-s. Traction isn't the issue, especially at 11.2

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
There's something much cooler about this gts at 11.2 than my amg e63s cow at 11.2 lol
I don't think these 4.0tt engines will have the tuning headroom as the 5.5tt....

Time will tell, it's still early days
If you look at all the technical info that's been released on the M177/178 (and M133) structurally they have been built stronger than previous power plants so increasing outputs should not be a problem integrity wise.
As for headroom, even at this initial stage with the M177/178 there seems to be a lot.
I've spoken to a tuner down here who are setting up their own locally available 205 series C63 tuning upgrades and so far they have easily achieved a power increase of 150bhp over stock and expect to extract even more
