Where are those magazine reviews / comparos?
But seriously, my C63S is definitely a more comfortable highway cruiser than the M4 I traded-in for it. And it feels like it accelerates faster (although I have not fully opened up the C and will not until I pass 1,000 miles). Nonetheless, I definitely want to see the numbers.
I do think it rather odd that I was able to find a C63S on a dealer lot before the major car mags could get one to test.
When the initial C63/C63 S reviews came out, the following publications/reviewers alluded to future head-to-head tests against the M3: Automobile Magazine, Chris Harris (. . . on Cars), Autocar, Evo Magazine, Top Gear.
I'm sure we'll see some instrumented tests from Car & Driver and Motor Trend, too.
Based on the dyno numbers we've seen so far, the C63 variants should be putting down some very exciting times.
LOL.....seriously.... ready for some data..... so I can pull out a copy and show my bench-racer superiority at the water cooler
I'll break things down and cover acceleration, steering feel, handling/agility, grip, ride quality, brakes, exterior looks, interior looks/quality, seats/seating position, the transmissions, etc. I'll also compare the W205 to my beloved tuned W204. I'll try to be as detailed as possible but I'll have had much more seat time in the F8X and W204, obviously.

Once my C63S is broken in and I have some additional seat time, I too will write a review based on owning an M4 for 11 months prior to acquiring my C. In addition, my wife still owns and will never part with her W204 C63, so I can give my impressions on how it compares to the new C.

Seems to me like both are great cars but the C63 is the one that edges it as I think it will in most vs battles of these 2 cars.
M3 vs C63
I've seen this. This is not what I want. I want real testing with real instruments, 1/4 times and speeds, 60-0 braking distances, skid pad Gs, slalom time, and race track times.
In particular, I want to see the C63S solidly in the 11 second range for the 1/4 with a trap speed of at least 122. This will put it well ahead of the Bavarian competition. Of course ultimately I would also like to see the C63S with a 'ring time of less than 7:50 but that is less likely.
I can test drive a car and form my own opinions as to which feels better on the road and which I enjoy driving more in normal conditions. I have yet to find a dealer who will let me take a car to the track to test its all out performance ;-)
Other peoples' driving impressions are helpful so I know what to think about and where to focus when I do a test drive. Ultimately however, I form my own judgments regarding normal driving.
Instrumented testing is vital as there is no other effective way in which I can get the data and it does matter to me. If it did not matter to me, I wouldn't spend thousands of $$ extra for the added performance that comes with a C63S versus the lesser C models or 3 series BMWs.
No figures that your after in that one but they gave it 4 out of 5. Said the road noise and ride refinement let it down. On the plus side they were quite glowing about the gearbox being almost DCT like.
Having driven it, I'm fine with ride and road noise and certainly was more comfortable than the M5 Compertition Pack I also considered.

* Very positive review of the chassis / handling
* Fairly positive review of the engine
* Terrible review of the ergonomics, interior quality, space, and comfort
Good overall track performance, but not a car I would want to live with on a daily basis. I do think Caddy can do better. My 2010 CTS-V was quite comfortable and while the interior was not up to the quality of the C63S, it was decent.
I don't expect better handling numbers for the C63S, but I do hope for better straight line performance numbers as the C63S clearly has the best engine of the group.
Just not a fan of the Caddies even though some of them sound ok the cars are too boxy and the interior is very poor.
