C63S vs M3 vs VXR8 GTS Shootout

"The BMW undoubtedly handles more keenly, rides more sweetly and makes better use of the combustive firepower at its disposal. But the C63 is more spectacularly endowed, has much greater charm and richness, greater communicative facets and better high-speed stability. And it makes every mile more memorable than in the BMW."
. What about the movie "Shaker run" with Cliff Robertson. Sorry to go of topic for a bit.

I went to a car show decades ago that had the cars used on display, they were mostly just hacked up and modified chassis no particular car type to really distinguish.
They've recently done a remake but haven't seen it yet.
I used to own a HSV Clubsport R8, (VT series 2 model) one of only 2 sedan vehicles I've ever owned, prefer to stick to my favourite car configuration of coupes and prefer either a wagon, SVU or hatch as the 2nd or 3rd practicality car.
Back on topic, mostly the reviews are fairly identical with the main points about performance and handling and seems to be the ongoing trend between these 2 that being the BMW is a little sharper and basically plainer overall, the AMG more powerful, faster and more well and luxuriously appointed - I'll take the AMG thank you

Very true but the ONLY reason why the Holdens/HSV's are cheap compared to the luxury brands is because of the government taxes that are slapped on them...take that 33-38% import tax off and it's a different story.
The reason why I purchased that aforementioned HSV R8 Clubsport VT series 2 was because back then ('99) the Euro brands were out of my price range as you mentioned above, now that I can afford the Euro brands I wouldn't go back to the Holdens/HSV's anyway even if they cost 1/10th as much, they just are not anywhere near the same level all things considered, although buying one as a possible future collectors car may be a good enough reason

Actually despite the LCT there is still around an AUD 30k profit for the importer of a C63. At least that is about the margin of another luxury brand in Australua on a similarly priced car. Australia is typically 2nd most profitable market behind China for luxury cars.
Anyway a little off topic.
