picked it up earlier. doesn't have a hud and it's missing all the safety gizmos (it's basically a premium package 2 thingy), but it's an edition 1, and it's beautiful! i don't care how many of you guys hate it!
i haven't driven it much (drove about 20 miles today), so i can't say all that much about the performance, but the ride is quite comfortable and smooth (even on sport+ setting), and the car feels...solid. but, mainly, that exhaust!!! o (or a)! m! g! i've watched a LOT of youtube videos and listened to the sound quite often, but it's so different and sooooo much better hearing it in person.

Congratulations HLA! The edition 1 in that spec look so much better in the wild then the photos leading up to the release I think for some reason.
I would have got a metallic grey or silver version if we had been offered it in Australia, as the Ed. 1 interior looks so damn good IMO.
Your right on the money with the exhaust, I've found it addictive after driving my coupe for 6 days now. Still only 130km approx on the clock though so still a long way to go with the break in period. Good luck with yours.

Congratulations! I agree with RHRAUS, the motorsport edition 1 does look much better in real life shots than in the press photos. You're gonna have a hell of a time with this beast! Enjoy and good luck with the break-in, that was the hardest part for me

i'm finding that i'm enjoying just listening to the car and feeling how well balanced it is around corners a hoot, so i think i'll be plenty entertained until i get to 1000 miles.

I have now joined the ranks of the delayed C63 S Edition 1 Coupe gang. Just found out my car which was due in dealership on the 29th September is now delayed and due in on the 12th October.
