Hi Guys,

Long time member and the occasional contributor, finally picked her up after a long 14 month wait. First impressions have been great, have already forgotten about the roller coaster ride getting here...

Have had mixes reviews regarding the stripes, was hoping they would grow on me but unfortunately they haven't so will be the first thing to go. Opted for the ED1 as I love the matte paint and in Aus the ED1 is great value as it comes with loads added extras.

Got a beautiful set of Rotiforms on the way, thanks to David from Wheels Boutique, will post some pics once I get them on.

Congrats to all taking and taken delivery so far, share your frustrations and joy as well.

Cheers
Mike

Congrats Mike!

Looks sweet man, I agree about the yellow... But that's an easy fix!

The journey was long but well worth it haha

The Beast is all coated up, all there is to do is some wrapping.

Gtechniq crystal serum. I tried to capture the shine but if you see it in the sunlight wow.

I'm also super lazy and it makes cleaning really easy especially the rims that even after 500miles were filthy.

@Mikenbn - Enjoy your car it looks awesome. Bright yellow stripes might just be a step too far for me too but I bet the car looks pretty noticeable in person!

Look forward to the pics kclman. I've been considering the same, but also the badges and front grill while keeping the star and circle around it chrome.

he applied it 8 months back and never had a retouch, or a service session for the coating, and the car still looks as if it was delivered couple days ago

nonetheless, I coated my c63 with Ceramic Pro, and I do take it for a ceramic wash every once in a while , still shines given the fact that shes turning a year old in a month or so.

haha I meant the cost of doing it, but I appreciate the comments on it's effectiveness and longevity as well.

Would someone typically do a clear bra as well as this? Or just one or the other?

I'm not crazy about stripe either. I would slowly destripe it. The first to go should be the hood and trunk stripes. The rocker panel ones might look ok after removing the eye sore from the hood and trunk.
