Inoperative Assist Functions?

Well... she is going back to dealer for service again.

Pre-safe and Assist functions stop working in the rain. Even light rain. Anyone else seen this problem?

All my assists shut down in the rain. I don't think this is anything unusual.

That is unusual. All the assists should work in all weather. Mine do in the AMG and in the Range Rover.

No worries we'll find something else to complain about.

Sometimes a near radar while driving, will cause everything to show "inoperative". Take it to your dealer to have it checked.

Here is the update from my dealer. I was seeing this problem, mostly when it rained. Then, the day I drove it to the dealer, it was having the problem even without the rain. They saw the issue but did not see any codes to help find the problem, so it took them some time to figure out. They hooked up tester while on a drive and found that on right turns there would be signal issues.

They traced the issue to the wiring harness resting on sharp metal and found a wire chaffed under the right front fender. They fixed and protected the wire and seems all good now.
See picture.

Several security related systems down due to a problem with a single wire.
This should be subject to recall and check.

Per the dealer tech notes; they removed the right front wheel and fender lining to access this connector.
