It looks like I am the only one that didn't get the message but, maybe I missed it or didn't wait long enough or something? Either way it works for me as well.
Has anyone tried to watch a DVD while driving yet or try any of the other normally locked features to see what else is unlocked?
PS: Dvd in motion emailed me today and indicated only half of the codes I sent out to you guys actually contacted them. If you aren't going to use the codes please let me know you changed your mind so I can send them to other members. THX

CT-AMG, thanks so much for setting this up for group buy. I was able to follow the instructions and download the files on SD card. Inserted in SD card slot and received the message "remove SD card" after about 1 minute or so. Now can have a passenger enter NAV while in motion. Thanks again for setting up the group buy.

Hey guys I got a few PM's about a couple of things so let me answer here...
You have to download the file they email you and unzip all 10 files onto the SD card. Don't drag the entire folder containing the 10 files onto the SD card, it needs to see 10 files individulaly not a single folder with 10 files, so drag them into the SD card or copy them or cut and paste them onto the SD card.
I contacted a bunch of you privately to use or return the codes and some of you did not comply. The company was cool enough to give me another couple of codes but, I think we are approaching the end of this power buy by the end of this week. If I get more requests I will try and get a couple more codes or I will ask the company to provide me with the unused codes and give those out to people looking to buy it now.
On a side note, they did tell me that they honored at least one forum member who did not yet have his car or his VIN, but allowed him to still take advantage of the Powerbuy price now. So, if you have a car coming "soon" just contact them and they will accommodate your situation.

In response to a few questions I have received, here is the reply from Dvd In Motion:
Streaming of iPhone videos seems to be a popular demand. I don't have much information about details and personally I never saw that working. I know this worked good in previous COMAND generation using the Media Interface and appropriate cable, but it was in times of iPhone 4 and this was the last iPhone with video output in connector.
Anyway, our software doesn't affect whether the feature works or not, it "just" enables it to work while driving. So you can ask your MB dealer to provide correct cable for your phone and if video works when the car is parked, it will also work while driving.

One thing to note... You may want to find an "old", make that "super old", SD car that has as minimal as possible memory in it. Why? The 10 files that the ZIP file extracts to is only 1.25MB! Thus, if you were to use a 4GB card, you're wasting a lot of space. DVDInMotion states that they do not recommend putting any other files on the same SD card. I just found a 16MB SD card in my drawer and ended up using that.

If I use a 2gb or 64gb card, once I install the file to the NAV system I can delete the file and still use the card. The email contains the link and the file is downloaded on my laptop until I sell the car. Why do I need to keep anything on the SD card at all after its installed?

A big THANKS to CT-AMG for making us aware of this product and for all the hard work in setting up the group buy. I installed mine today and can confirm that the installation was super easy (told me to remove SD after about 1 minute) and all NAV functions and DVD playback work flawlessly.

No thanks necessary guys, we are all here to help each other out any way we can and that was my pleasure. I wish I got the PB price, I bought mine as the guinea pig and didn't even get in on the deal!
Enjoy it, I am having some fun with the abilities and like even more that it is "forbidden" and I am breaking the rules. Thats why I like it the most..
