Mercedes-AMG C63S Edition 1
C63S 3 recalls plus 1 Edition 1 Recall.
Took my car in today to get the chrome replaced on the trunk, and to get a low oil faulty message dealt with, and I found out the C63S's have 3 recalls, and the editions 1 have 1 extra recall.
1. Rework Plug at Electronic Locking Differential. Housing Gasket is on order.
2. Update Front Sam Control Unit Software.
3. Retrofit two stop plugs at the spare wheel well.
4. Edition 1 Recall. Retrofit Edition 1 Decorative foil
After all these things were done I noticed a few things.
1. Backfires are more frequent.
2. Cars quieter at a stand still.
3. Backfires are louder.
4. When driving in any gear and you accelerate then take your foot off the gas, the car jerks. This didn't happen to me before.

Had 1-3 done a few months back, so these campaigns aren't new. The locking diff gasket was causing an intermittent short in rainy weather, causing the car to go into a Pre-Safe condition.
There's another campaign for the oil sensor; apparently foaming causes it to believe that there's low oil. MB is redesigning the sensor and will replace when ready. This might account for a lot of you guys running into the "add quart of oil" warning when it isn't really low.
Finally, was told there was a bulletin that will become a campaign once the seals are available, but for those with creaking coming from the driver's side door. Known issue at MB, they're redesigning and will have it available in a month or two.

Edition 1 is just an option package with some unique visuals that is only offered on a few 2015 C63s cars basically. If your car doesn't have red highlights all over it's interior and exterior and racing decals, it's not an Edition 1

guys I had my car in for the first service a few weeks ago. no one mentioned any recall though? What shall I do ? Contact my service advisor again and check if there's any recall?
