$2420.00

EACH

$4840 for two alloy wheels - no tyres

Has anyone priced these up elsewhere?
This is correct mate, these are fully forged wheels. The prices are ridiculous.

This is why I've held of getting aftermarket wheels. If I'm going to upgrade they will need to be better than the stock forged.

If could work... you'd be the first one on the forum to do that.

Let us know how you go.

Well not so fast. I'm having the same issues as DragonRR. No spacers will work!!! H&R says they have the Coupe in Germany and are working on it, but no ETA. Apparently, the geometry of the wheels/hubs/car is different than the sedan???

Has ANYONE gotten a working spacer on the Coupe, as yet?????

I emailed ECS tuning yesterday. They told me that they do not have Spacers for the C63s coupe. Which surprised me, as Sanch has a photo of these on his car. So I do not know where to get them now. Ordered the KWs today, and now on the spacer hunt also.

What manufacturer and brand type of tires are people in the states getting as stock on the 19/20's? I want to order a larger, but matching rear tire, in advance of arrival.

Stick with PSS, they are pretty good!

I'm going to go up one size when I wear out my current tires.

265/295

Sanch,
Is that what's on the car standard?
So if I order the PSS for the rear, it will match the fronts? 😀😀😀

Had a quote of £7850 for a set of the cross spoke to fit winter tyres too a bit over the top

Contacted Africa tonight to get a quote so see what they say.

May look at AM alloys after that but I looked at all the wheels vendors are offering on here and nothing seems to catch my eye.

What to do? Maybe I'll win the lotto and then I can spend $5k on the extra 1"...

Bwahahahah!!!!!

No worries, mate. You've already been a huge help.

Tell you what - if you want to give me the phone number of your shop, I'll even call them for the info and post it on the forums (and I'm from the states)! LOL!

Turns out, because I live in Nevada and we get 20d temps, I'm going to have to buy a set of Winter tires/wheels. So, I'll upsize on the winters now on the new Vossen wheels/tires (S3's) .... The question becomes less pressing, because I can wait until spring/summer to mount the PSS's back onto the OEMs with car again and with the spacers. Or, should I reverse the thinking and put winters on the OEMs with spacers in front and do summers on the new Velos S3s???? Opinions??

But, my biggest question becomes - should I go with Michelin PS A/S's or is there another Winter Tire that is better (I'm super concerned about noise and traction). We get ZERO snow where I am in Nevada, it's just temperature/compound related that becomes the issue.

Having NEVER dealt with this problem before as we just moved to the colder desert climates, any help is truly appreciated.

EDIT: JUST found another damn hiccup. I cannot get ANY winter tire, it seems after checking TireRack, in a 305 set up. Therefore, in order to get a symmetric set that can be rotated, I'll have to get a set of 19's all around and use 275's on all of them. Now the problem is getting an offset for those rims on the coupe that will allow flush fitment, and not require a spacer either front or rear? It's going to suck pretty bad to have a spacer in front for the summers and a spacer in back for the winters....

Any thoughts on all of this???

The 295/30/19 side walls measure approximately 55mm.

Side on you you can't even notice.
RDO, is there an advantage of running stock 245 out front? Could you have moved the rear tyres to the front rims or move the entire set to the front? Would that work?

Frizzy, I didn't even consider fitting the 265's to the front.

Whats everyones thoughts on this?

My wife just bought a new W205 C250 AMG line for her work car, I was just going to fit the original AMGCross Spoke wheels and tyres to it once I've sourced new wheels for the C63S if there's no off set issues.

I'll look into fitting the 265's to the front but feel free to chime in everyone with your comments.

Cheers RDO.
Yeah, I was just thinking if you guys are up sizing the rear might as well move the 265 to the front and make it super mean out front too.
