I thought this was standard in the C63S coupe (in the UK)? Mine doesn't have it and don't recall seeing it as an option when configuring the car.

That's very strange, it's definitely standard, mine has it.

Very strange indeed as I thought I read it was standard. Not sure it's worth speaking to the dealer to see what they say...

It was not available on the early production cars coming into the UK.

It did not appear on my initial order in April, but it then appeared on my order
when I amended my specs in June.

You should ask them. On an S model it should definitely be standard.

You sure Uga? I remember it showing up as a standard option for the C63S since UK brochures and order guides became available.

Thanks folks. I believe this was a June production car I have which might explain it. It's no hardship tbh but thought it seemed strange not to be there...

Agreed one of those 'nice to have' features, but not the end of the world.

This is a feature which brings the seatbelt forward.

+1. Definitely nice to always turn your head and "Oh there's the belt". But as you said definitely not something that's going to wipe the smile off your face when you hit the start button, plus you can give those obliques a bit of a daily workout lol.

Are those things sturdy? I remember seeing them in other cars thinking that would be easy to break and expensive to fix

As with everything in this car it all feels extremely well built. I would think you would have to really give the belt a massive yank in the wrong direction to break them. There's also no risk of you breaking them off when you're getting in/out as they only come out when you've got in and shut the door or pressed the console button to bring it out.

Pretty low risk of breakage I would say.

They are hard to break, and not too expensive to repair. I have overall them on my w124 coupe.

Hi where did u read it ? I have C63s w205 2016 coupe and at the being the seat belt always when I start s was a bit tight " the car give me a hug" also when I was in the race mod and TCS stats working it make the same "hug" nowadays it just stop working. And dealer told me that I didn't have pre safe system so there's no way that seat belt does this. all off my friends everyone eaven the owner before me remember that there was the function or safety pretension or how ever they call it... I don't know what to do....
