Coupe Dyno results.

I was definitely surprised. Thanks to Eurocharged houston for hosting an AMG day at their shop. Brief video to come. Car is stock with 1500 miles.

Definitely not unusual for torque to drop off at the top end with smallish turbos. The HP curve is really flat up top which looks really good, I actually recall seeing HP drop off more in the top end on other dyno charts. Is it possible there's a different ECU calibration with the coupe and sedan?

Great question. Can anyone post their stock sedan dyno? I know we can't compare numbers directly, but the area under the curve can be.

As for the higher/flatter curve in the upper RPM range, the weather in Houston when this run was done was pretty cold out (45ish degrees F) compared to other runs I've seen from Eurocharged that were done in much warmer temperatures. I'm willing to be any difference/gains over other stock runs are almost entirely down to the cold weather.

I understand these graphs should be corrected for weather conditions, but that correction is by no means perfect.

Just to confirm, those are at the wheel numbers right, not calculated flywheel horsepower? Allowing for the generosity of Dynojet, they're still good strong numbers.

The turbo upgrades available out there for these cars will take care of that flat line up top on the graph for it!

Why does HP tail off at the top end? I thought HP scaled linearly with rpm?

turbos are running out of breath up top, hence why the tuners are seeing huge gains by porting out factory turbos and installing bigger compeller wheels.
