Yes - G Exhaust in Davie near the Hard Rock.
They installed AMG E55 mufflers on my E500 and did the bumper cutouts.
Great work at a very reasonable cost.
Ask for 'G' and tell him the E500 Mercedes guy referred you.

Hi, I was just curious about your 'before secondary cat delete' video. Were you not revving it in sport+? I ask because even without any mods to the exhaust, the exhaust should pop and crackle during revs?

Any H or X pipe?

- A touch louder on idle to normal throttle than stock, but only a touch. On mid to full throttle, however, it's LOUD. This is great for the non-perf exhaust especially because it means driving around normally isn't offensive, but when you start opening the throttle, you can make some ridiculous noises. It's like two cars in one.

- Throatier tone. As standard, I couldn't hear the exhaust through tunnels despite it being pretty loud. With the secondary cats gone, the tone is throatier (not raspier!) and so now through tunnels it sounds amazing. I was shocked how loud it was and how good it sounded, really hard-edged and a lot more like the previous C63.

- Pops and crackles. Before, they sounded like firecrackers. Now they sound like fireworks. Standing behind the car, they punch you in the stomach when they go off. Combined with the engine sound update, this exhaust mod sounds absolutely mental.

In short, it's the perfect mod. Everyone should do it.
Hi,

Did you have a H or X pipe where the secondary cat is ?

No x-pipe or h-pipe, just two short individual pipes as per the photos a few posts up. The car already has a valved h-pipe I believe.

For anyone looking for a lil extra sound equal to a sec. cat+res delete on the M156 for few hundred dollars that legit takes 1 minute to install thats undetectable by dealerships, I highly recommend and exhaust module if you have the PE. Comfort mode isn't silent, get a nice deep tone w/ some pops and S+ crackles+pops are loud AF. Get a nice pop on start up in comfort with PE button off(louder w/ each mode up+H pipe flap open). Can put to stock setting but can also make extra quiet if you want to be quiet, which is nice if my niece is in the backseat and asleep.

Just wondering if any 2019+ owners have been game enough to delete secondary cats?

I just had this done yesterday to my c63s with the sports exhaust(non-pe) and the car is much more livelier. The car stock had a nice mean tone from the outside but it was barely audible from inside the cabin. I can now hear the exhaust snap and crackle with the windows up and it’s intoxicating. The sound level has increased 15-20%.

My shop replaced mine with bent 3” 304 stainless and it took roughly 1.75 hours.

Pm if you need a good shop in SoCal.

Hey, do you happen to have any vids of your exhaust? I also have the non performance exhaust and am looking to remove the secondary cats, but never thought about the muffles (rear boxes). Am i correct that i read you removed the rear boxes and then the secondary cats, thus basically making a straight pipe from the primary cats? Thanks for any help!

Question

Hi, all! Does anybody have a picture of how the STOCK downpipe flow into the pipe with the secondary CAT?

Want to understand whether that particular pipe with the secondary CAT is replaceable on its own?

Or you only have an option of replacing STOCK downpipe and secondary CAT or welding the secondary cat out?

Crap - my 2019 c63 is quiet as my girlfriend during sex. It has something to do new particles filter.

Anybody did secondary cat delete on a 2019+ C63s? Does it help at all?

1. Where is it located? How can I delete or replace it?
2. Is replacement of an H- or X-pipe going to make sound any better?
3. Secondary cat can only be cut off? There is no way to just replace it with a straight pipe?

not even a burble, man! heck with the girlfriend, I am so disappointed with this car. The sound I thought she makes was like 80% of the reason I chose it (same with the girlfriend!). Would have gone for something like supercharged Jaguar F-type then. Jags sound never disappoints.

didn’t you test drive it before buying...both 😂, but seriously when I was buying mine new from lot I test drove and the sound was one convincing factor I wanted it then (was not really thinking to buy a car and just looking around). I test drove the F-type and almost bought a convertible one for my wife...but deal fell through during negotiations. But agree those F-types sound nice. Anyway, you can make your PFL louder, maybe not the same burble tone as OEM but for sure loud. I personally don’t want the loudest car just a nice V8 sounds and the FL with always open valves fits my bill. My son is for loud and does all kind of mods to get it loud.
