I use the CTEK Multi US 25000. Same model MB lists for the C63s. It's a great charger with lots of safety and battery reconditioning features. You can get them for about 200 on Amazon. Probably double that from the dealer.

I personally use Battery Tender and we also use this brand on all of our in house vehicles. They're also water proof and come with both Ring Terminal Harness/Alligator Clip Harness.

Suspect it is an AGM battery and dealer doesnt know the difference.
They are often uninformed about their own products
Ask them to price a lithium battery for your car
Plus for battery tender
For my lawn tractor I use scrap 200ma 12v charger that works just fine for that purpose

it is in the back of trunk if you want to look for yourself.
It has a hose hanging down to be a vent of the battery so it is a wet or gel or glass mat I would think.

Just wanted to clarify on the chargers. For lithium batteries CTEK actually has a specific charger for it. (Link below). The MUS 4.3 FDNewbie posted is actually only for lead acid batteries. Says on the side on the charger itself. I actually have the 4.3, it is an awesome charger and I use it on all of my vehicles.
