6 months or less till units are retail ready for the masses to play it real safe. Should be MUCH sooner but in the aftermarket automotive industry things tend to not always go as planned so I always err on the side of caution. Been bit more then a few times and know better. =)

Oh wow... You guys are moving right along. Looking forward with great anticipation :-)
Also... If we order the harness and install it at home, will the warranty guarantee still be intact? Or does it have to be installed at an authorized Dinan distributor?

I was just about to go in to get the exhaust update, but after seeing that thread, decided against it.
I do notice in Comfort with the prototype that the throttle response is significantly quicker, even with it starting in 2nd.

Vaelin will be getting his car back this afternoon with the more production orientated version so he can relay some info once hes had a chance to play a bit.

Vaelin, have you had the exhaust update software done by the dealer? Very curious if the Dinan can fix the mess that Mercedes made of the latest software. I sort of doubt it because I think a lot of the problem is in the TCU, not just the ECU.

I have the latest exhaust and engine/trans software and have no problem lighting up 1st or 2nd gear on command, and I have the Coupe with wider stock tires and much better grip than the sedan.

Dude you don't need to hijack every thread here with your issues... we get it. Your issues will only be exacerbated if you start throwing more boost at the car while you have hardware or undiagnosed problems.

God forbid I ask someone who got the Dinan tune if he had the exhaust update.

Your car is obviously broken. You should just sell it and save us all.

So... Nate says my embargo is lifted. I have what what will likely be production hardware and tune in my C63S now.
Thus...
If we go by 15% drivetrain loss, we're looking at about 615hp/683tq peak crank numbers. Numbers that are pretty good for any Stage 1 tune, regardless of piggyback or flash. The main news of course, is the torque area. It's.. ridiculous. In a good way.
Will try and do some runs tonight to get some readings on my OBDII reader and maybe play with my GoPro, barring any parenting duties.

Folks, stop ragging on those of us with issues for trying to determine a way to resolve.
You don't like reading about the issue, skip to the next post and save us your complaining.
I'm here to help and be helped by others.
You are welcome to do neither, just keep your comments to yourself please.
Keyboard warriors with unwarranted courage and bad attitude, not welcome.
