Track Day?
Total noob on this matter.
So I've just had my C63s coupe for a month and had been wondering.
How do one sign up for a track day? What are some basic requirements/advice on going to a track day for the first time?
I'm located in Toronto area btw.

Google is your friend here...
im in California and was able to find a club that puts on track days on a pretty regular basis. They had an option for beginners. The day was a total of five 20 min sessions. The first three sessions were instructed- going over lines, flags, point by passing, etc. In between sessions we had classroom time.
The he last two sessions were free to go (following the rules) with point by passing at specific sections of the track. Learned a ton and it is a great experience. And believe me, after 20 minutes of solid track driving, it can be exhausting!
Also, you may want to give autocross a whirl first to get your feet wet.

Most new AMG (except "43" models?) vehicles purchased in the US include a complimentary beginner AMG Driving Academy course (or partial credit towards an advanced class if you've already completed the beginner class). I can see there is an AMG Driving Academy in Canada as well, but can't tell if the beginner course is included with the purchase. It might be worth looking into.

Shannonville and Mosport are the 2 closest tracks from Toronto.
There are event days if you head over to our Regional Forum - Canada.
As to advice, just have fun and don't push yourself and wave people past.
You will get run around in circles by " lesser" cars driven by experienced drivers with track suspension and tires.

Join the BMW CCA, or Porsche Club of America. You don't have to own either to join and participate in their track events. I've been with the CCA for 20 years, doing anywhere between 2-5 track weekends a year. They are very well-run, safe and great for beginners and more experienced (older) fellas like me.

+1 to AMG Driving Academy - definitely take advantage of the Basic day included with your purchase. Also you get 20% off Advanced and up with your AMG Private Lounge membership - also worth it. Learn on their cars - you will be much better (and less destructive, hopefully) to yours.
