ADV1 wheels have been around for 15 to 20 years I'd guess. Never heard a bad thing about them and I love a lot their designs which I feel are better then HRE's.
Its unlikely they could stay so strong in the market all these years, without delivering a great product for what is a premium price. I own HRE's but would not hesitate for a second to swap them out for a set of ADV1.

Recently I am shopping for a new sets of wheel for my ride and I am looking at ADV.1, HRE, Forgiato and BBS RI-D. At first my primary choice is ADV.1 but due to too many style have been copied by BC forge which is very popular in my region, now I am looking into HER.
AS I know now ADV.1 is owned by MOMO Design USA.

Are you serious?? do your homework! they have not even been around for 10! They use to be 360 Forged which stole peoples money, then they changed to ADV1 who also wound up delivering a lot of poor quality wheels! I cannot even tell you how bad it was when I purchased the one and only set for a customer. Also, do a google search, look how they drilled some of the wheels on the 3pc centers, I know a guys whos ADV1 wheel blew up on the highway and they made sure to keep it on the down low. The latest is they were not able to fulfill peoples orders after 6 months of payment, they got bought out. If you want to buy their wheels! go for it!!

I've had several cars with ADV.1 wheels on them, I haven't had any issues w/ them or the company at all. Definitely aren't super fast with build time but this is my third set so I kinda expect it now.

Did he hit a curb at 100+ . You're defaming a company on the internet...one that I've said I'm very open to purchase wheels from. Please explain how these ADV1 wheels have "blew up on the highway". Now you have me uncertain if these wheels are safe.
BTW, Thanks for your input.

You're "just going to top that off". Really...do you know anything about these wheels blowing up on the highway. You wanted to get in on this conversation..let us know what you know about these wheels being so dangerous to us all.

You are doing yourself a disservice when you don't buy japanese wheels. They are cheaper, stronger, lighter and have been using the technology these American companies like to boast about in their marketing campaigns for 2-3 times longer.
BBS and Volk are superior to just about anything these american companies are producing. HRE is probably the only brand I would stand behind.
Most of these american companies don't even own their own milling machines, meaning your product can be delayed for weeks and even months on end. They are renting/leasing time on someone elses machines.

90% of these wheel companies are just designs owned and subbed out to a producer. ADV one is made by MHT who makes about 50 other brands.
That being said the HRE and Corr are 2 that do in house forging. HRE flow formed are done 3rd party.
Also dont be put off by one persons account of one wheel blowing up at one time. I know a ton of people that RUN ADV1 on numerous vehicles and have had no issues. I personally would never spend that much on a wheel and if i was i would go with HRE for sure.
