Exhaust sound change?
Anyone know as exhaust system that sounds more like an Italian car than a Louder American muscle car?

I think the way AMGs V8 engines are engineered, it's meant to sound like a muscle car rather than the high pitched Italian v8 engines.

i think they make one that just came out recently. You'd probably like the sound. I think it's called a Giulia? Something like that. I think it's Italian. That exhaust will give you what you're looking for.

You need to go to the dealer and get the FPC software update. I got mine done yesterday and I'm loving the new flat plane crankshaft scream

Are you referring to the illustrious and illusive "exhaust sound upgrade?"

If so, I've apparently had that applied two weeks ago.
And while i love the pops and burbles, I think our cars sound a LOT like a Shelby Mustang with 70's glass packs.

I don't hate the way our engines sound, but I would like a bit more finesse.

AMG's sound like AMG's, period. I don't think they sound like American muscle or Italian exotic. This is why I love the car. When I hear an AMG exhaust, I know immediately what it is.

You actually changed out your crankshaft? FPC software is made and distributed by who? Not Mercedes, I imagine...

Maybe my hearing is going then.....
I don't think so, because I can hear whispers in a crowded room (annoying A/F), but you never know....
