Coupe - Squared off Wheel Arches
Anyone have any idea what the resulting look might be if we were to contrast color the flat portion of the fenders around the wheels? It's flat, almost as if there was a bodykit piece missing????
For example, I have Iridium Silver w/Night package.
I am curious to know how it would look to apply black vinyl to the flat portion of the fender.....
Also has added benefit of rock chip prevention....
Anyone tried this?
Literally, flat on the fender and EXACTLY perpendicular to the ground.
No highlight/photo editing s/w at the moment.

I've seen the older/other Mercedes (and the like) where they put chrome in that area... Personally, I hate chrome - it's so 80's. That's why, I've blacked out ALL of my chrome, silver, or grey on the car (not shown in that picture).
I'm just waiting for a cheap Chinese accessory for that area and wondering, in advance of that, what it might actually look like.
In retrospect, I think a better color might be red or yellow (dependent upon your calipers).... But, your point about panel gaps is taken which is why, after I printed a picture of my ride and used a marker, realized that it will likely look as if the fender / wheel gap is enlarged...
Wondering what Red or Yellow might look like, but I don't have a marker or patience.
But everyone's opinions are appreciated.
Just wanted to explain my "logic."
