Any cons with exposed filter due to heat and dirt that is trapped inside engine bay?

 

Is that true? Any hard data / datalogs out there? Wouldn't have expected airflow to be limited with a simpler stage 1 tune, but obviously is certainly possible. Interested in this if there is actual need (add opposed to peace of mind)

Couple this intake kit with any ECU calibration bench flash or piggy back and the gains will be increased.

 

Care to back that up with actual data?

How about a pre and post dyno with Dinan installed? 😉 or 1/4 mile...

 

No drag strip near me in San Jose.

As for Dyno, if someone wants to help pitch in haha, otherwise im sure it will be similar to Vaelin who has a 2015 with Dinan.. maybe a bit better on top end due to these filters.

Yeah unless these guys wanna pitch in to cover dyno fees, im not too fussed about it. Dont have much free time to go out of my way to dyno the car. Most free time i get on weekends im out driving the canyons with friends.

 

If I go ahead and pick one up I will post before and after dyno numbers with it.

My stock and DInan dynos are already in several threads (and are what Dinan has on their website).

I'll get it dyno'd again (maybe Dinan will do it) once my order arrives and I get it installed.
