C43 trade in for c63s
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a c450 and even though I like it, and is equipped with every package. I want to trade it in for a real amg c63s. My question to you is can I go back to my dealership and sell this back to them or trade it in for the c63s. Will it be a smooth transition?
1. I owe 40k on the c450 I put a Downpayment of 10k
2. The 2016 c63s is selling for 58k

Depends on what the dealership value your c450 at. If you owe 40k and they value it at 35k, then you will be taking a 5k hit on top of the 10k down payment. So you would go into the c63s with negative equity. The only way you would break even is if the value it at 50k which is impossible for a used C450. Anytime you trade in, you take a hit but for a 58k c63s, it will worth it

Is there a difference between C43 and C450? A bit confused. At any rate, when you trade your car for a C63, please post the differences in cabin noise and ride quality, please. And specify if it's a coupe or sedan. In case I can't swing the C63 coupe (the sedan is reportedly quieter and smoother, but don't like sedans for me), and the E400 coupe I'll test-drive next week is too bland, maybe the C43 coupe could be the right combination of luxury (relatively quiet interior and suspension not too firm). But honestly hope the E400 is enough, since it has a much nicer interior, and more spacious rear, in case I ever need it for my daughters. Thanks, and good luck.

I needed to know if the transition would be smooth for me at the dealership. will I be paying a higher monthly rate and will the down payment I put Down On my c450 will go Down the drain?

I think you would do better by selling your current vehicle or getting out of the lease and then shopping around for a 2016 C63s. I have one for sale with less miles and lower price and I am sure there are others out there for even less. The dealer is making a mark up on the 2016 and will crush you getting out of your C43 as well..
