AutoVlog Dinan C63s vs Stock C63

Disappointing that you can only tell it is tuned by a straight line race. With the big tourqe boost they are claiming I would think it would feel quite different from the start.

That's strange, I drove a renntech c63s coupe with an ecu tune and it's noticeably different from a stock c63s. Here's another youtube video of a c63s with weistec ecu tune and downpipes.

Just my my opinion but I’m sure others with the Dinan tune will agree. To be honest I was happy to see how easily the tuned car was able to pull away from the stock car in the video.

Renntech says that their ECU tune gets about 605 HP, same as the Dinan piggyback. I also saw a video of Misha's which has Renntech saying they are working on a piggyback as well.

Peak power gain figures mean nothing when it comes to butt dyno. Butt dyno is all about low end torque...

Still waiting for some slip times...
People are putting up really good numbers on stock setups. I have a hard enough time keeping tires from spinning as is and can't really imagine that a tune (in any for or fashion) will make that any better without further modification to my car.

There aren't any test and tune days scheduled at my track until Feb 2018, so I won't be able to get times until then.

Newbie here, 2018 C63S Sedan ordered early November, due late Feb to early March. Selenite, Black wheels, Night package, Napa Brown saddle interior and lots of electronics. Been lusting for an AMG or Brabus for decades, itch scratched. Ordered the sedan as I have a C350 sedan now and don't fit right in the coupe.. Wound not mind adding some tuning for a couple grand or less once I really get the feel of it as long as the original ECU is not modified. I ordered the car for my 70th B-Day... take me back to the days I raced Porsches so I doubt I'm a hazard in it.
Thanks to the posters for the information offered. Couple Dinan installers near here (South Florida) I remember from my racing daze.
